Attending the MTV upfront presentation in New York, Tim Stack reports that the network just announced that Beavis & Butt-Head will indeed make its triumphant return to the network. The announcement confirms previous online reports, some from creator Mike Judge himself, that MTV was working on a return of the hit series.
When will Beavis air? Executives did not say. But they did give a premiere date for the network’s TV series version of Teen Wolf. The drama will debut June 5, after the MTV Movie Awards.

It will never work. The humor is outdated. Has anyone tried to watch Austin Powers or Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure lately? I can’t imagine that anyone would care about this. Why not bring back videos instead, MTV?
i just watched austin powers trilogy today. its still funny. but i fired up some b & b and most of it was disapointing. hopefully the show doesn’t suck.
i don’t even have mtv anymore. i’ll have to go to other peoples’ houses to watch the show. if the show suck, friends are going to hate me for wasting their time.
I still watch Bevis and Butt Heaad reruns (bootlegs w/videso included) and with the exception of Beavis’ annoying Cornholio persona, it’s still funny. In fact, now that I’m old enough to understand how much this made fun of the American teenage mindset, it seems way funnier to me.
