Image Credit: Noel Vasquez/Getty ImagesMy Name is Earl fans, rejoice! Joy and Randy are headed to Raising Hope – well, rather, Jaime Pressly and Ethan Suplee. The pair will appear in the penultimate episode of this season as a married couple who lives in the neighborhood.
“Burt and Virginia sort of become involved in their life more than they want to,” Earl and Hope creator and executive producer Greg Garcia told EW. “They become entangled in some drama that’s going on at the Suplee-Pressly household.”
The news comes on the heels of Earl star Jason Lee’s November appearance as washed-up rocker Smokey Floyd and the announcement of Eddie Steeples’ (Crabman!) upcoming guest spot.

Ahem, that’s TV for Scientologists if you’re to believe that My Name Is Earl was actually about spreading Scientologist propaganda like some people out there think. The creator and much of the cast and many of the guest stars were Scientologists.
Good! Both actors are hilarious, and I miss them!
Boo. I really like Hope, but worry it will get bogged down with too many “weird” characters like Earl did….looks like they are taking the most direct route to do just that.
Aw… while it’s good to see two more Earl alumni to make an appearance on Raising Hope, I still want to see them as their Earl characters (after all, we did get that snippet that Earl finished the list… it’d be nice to see what he and the gang are up to)!
