Usually, the hosts that ellicit the least amount of hope and the most pre-show derision tend to do great. Taylor Swift was amazing while uber-respected thespian DeNiro tanked and well-liked and solidly reviewed (in Mad Men) January Jones utterly bombed. Maybe Myley Cyrus eill be a hit.

EW, enough! You guys follow this no-talent’s every move, but its been 3 days and you guys still haven’t recognized the release of The Strokes’ first single in 5 years, “Under Cover of Darkness”, which is absolutely awesome by the way…This is rather inexcusable EW, you guys better stop ignoring them and give us some serious Strokes coverage in March when their new album comes out!

SNL is really sinking.
I really have to agree with that, as the writing isn’t funny and only provides a snicker here or there periodically. However, even there choice of hosts often suck or the musical guest is some top 40 artist that is already overexposed. Gone are the days when SNL was worth staying up for.
Guess she asked her agent to book her a gig where she could score some more weed.
