Image Credit: Dan MacMedan/WireImage.comCharlie Sheen is ready to go back to work on his CBS show. Well, at least according to Charlie Sheen. The actor called into The Dan Patrick Show this morning, saying, among other things, that he was clean and ready for production to start up again.
“We are on forced hiatus. They said, ‘You get ready and we’ll get ready.’ And I got ready and went back and nobody’s there,” he said, joking that he’d gone to set and banged on the door. “I’m here and I’m ready. They’re not. Bring it, you know?”
“I’m a man of my word; I have a contract. They said get your act together, and I did,” Sheen added. “I think just maybe it was a timing thing. I didn’t think it was going to happen this fast. Check it, it’s like I heal really quickly. But I unravel pretty quickly. So get me right now, guys.”
The actor also addressed whether or not he was sober during the interview: “Oh yeah. One hundred percent, one hundred perfect,” he said. “Peeing clean. I just said pee on your show, sorry man. I feel great, man … I’m here and ready … I’m actually hungry.”

Wow. Just wow. He and Lindsay really should make a movie together so each can see exactly how screwed up the other is.

He is sad. I am amazed that any woman finds this needle nosed walking veneral disease the least bit attractive. I watch his show when nothing else is on and it is just one weak dirty joke after another. Can we please make this addict/idiot go away?
Indeed! He sounds so manic on that tape – I can’t imagine that his “people” are happy he did this. Dude needs to be admitted to a hospital.
I don’t think women find him attractive. That is why in all these instances he is being caught with strippers and hookers that he is paying to party and have sex with him.
You can be clean and sober for a single day–doesn’t mean you’re actually sober full-time, or that it’ll last. It takes a little more work than a couple weeks of at-home rehab…
He even admits – I heal quickly and I decline quickly so get me now – because he wants to finish out the season quickly in order to get back to his drug use. Its just ridiculous.
He seems to be treating all of this as one big joke. Sorry, but the line between Sheen and his character on the show has gotten too blurred to be amusing anymore.
This poor idiot. He’s nowhere near ready to get clean for good. It’s sad to watch.
He’s going to “unravel” real quick once he starts missing the enemas the girls do on him. Wait til the next one, CBS will have to put up with him, he doesn’t have a “moral clause in his contract”, they are stuck with him.

Why shouldn’t he be happy? He is living in a different world than the rest of us. He created his own world where he gets to have everything he loves – drugs and porn. Of course he’s happy.
If your idea of happiness is blowing your mind and body on coke and alchol and frelling hookers……
Sadly, for most men, this is their secret wish.. ask your husbands ladies.. they wish they were Charlie for one day..and leave their boring wives behind.
I kind of hate the guy (hello, multiple domestic violence arrests!) and even I feel kind of bad about this. It’s like a long, public episode of Intervention where nothing ever actually works.
He’s starting to sound overconfident about his position with the network. I hope CBS cancels the show after these remarks and really show him whose boss as it always seems that Charlie calls all the shots.
CBS will never cancel a show making money. The sponsors and advertisers will need to pull out for them to cancel the show. Which could happen if he keeps it up.
they are in a tough spot for sure but I honestly think all the cast and crew are hunting for new pilots because everyone is less and less comfortable watching someone die and they don’t want to feel they did nothing. CBS was waiting for their chance to have this hiatus and I hope they DO say take more time, or just end the show after this season.

The irony of it all is that I think the show could make it without Sheen. Jon Cryer gets all the best laughs with the rest of the cast supporting him.
I so agree. A show with just Alan and Jake would be great. The current show is almost a “reality show” for Mr. Sheen. Each time we laugh at Charlie Harper’s behavior we’re encouraging Charlie Sheen to act the same way.

Yes I think the show would go on with out him It will have to soon ,because he is going to kill himself. Send him off and start the show again,please……..

PLEASE. He had a week of “rehab” at his home and he’s totally clean? give me a break. Let’s see if CBS continues to enable this jackass. I think he is long overdue for some tough love and some consequences.
Charlie, no one makes you go into hiding except yourself. Own up to your wrong doings and addictions.then. you can start healing. God Bless you and keep you safe. Life is too precious to throw away.
And he has such a great life, so many priviledges, a loving family (brothers, parents) and five children.
Think of all the people in the world who would kill for a small peice of his life – even just the love of parents who don’t give up on you – that’s a precious thing to waste.

Charlie is in charge. Two and Half Men is a huuuge money-maker for CBS. That’s why they keep indulging him. Are they really going to cancel a big-time ratings hit to teach Charlie a lesson? Of course not. I guarantee you, the writers are wracking their brains to figure out a way to write Charlie out without it damaging the show. If that’s even possible.
I love Charlie, but these are true words of an addict. I’m clean today so therefore I’m healed…NOT how it works buddy. Best of luck to him battling his demons. He has an illness, and I hope he can overcome it.
