rough night all around for the big 4
Remember when The Simpsons used to be on Thursdays?
ok?
Remember when it used to be called The Flintstones?
No, because that was another show entirely.
Yeah. Seasons 2-5. What about it?
Bob…..They put it on Thursdays to compete with NBC’s comedy.
Remember when HBO had a show called Remember When?
Perhaps its a different show, but AMC had a show called Remember WENN
American Dad is the best of the three MacFarlane’s shows.
Family Guy’s been rockin these past two weeks. Back in old form.
It started out well but stretched out the fight scene entirely too long. I feel like there writers have trouble filling a whole 22 minute each week and always have to resort to time fillers like this.
I actually thought last nights ep was the worst in a long while. I dont even like twilight, but that joke about it was a little beneath them
Family Guy is lame now (alright, we get it, you guys have a new computer, enough with the long boring tracking shots of CGI houses, landmarks, etc.), Cleveland Show is boring and American Dad should just be about Roger and Stan.
Yes. Cleveland’s bad, Family Guy USED to be funny, but now it’s horrible.
American Dad is lightyears better, and it’s the one that probably won’t be renewed after next season. Ugh!
Ed,
You’re a pathetic idiot.
I agree
Just goes to prove that Sunday is a bad night for broadcast television – what’s worth watching on ABC, CBS, and NBC?
I love Bob’s Burgers!
I love this program too. I wasn’t sure about it at first, but then it kind of grew on me. the kids on it are so funny! and Family guy was good last night too.
Agreed. Absolutely Hilarious!
I thought last nite episodes were not that entertaining except for American Dad
I thought The Simpsons was solid last night.
Still think it’s amazing how the Simpsons still get really solid ratings.
Because it’s still a really funny show that a lot of people love. Just because YOU don’t like it doesn’t mean it isn’t good.
Amen Flip. There were stellar seasons (1-5) solid (6-9) and good (the rest) seasons. Though it doesn’t hit it out of the park every week, still dig them anyway.
The show did get really bad for a couple of seasons.
Nowadays, it’s far from the classic show it used to be, but it’s entertaining again. And it’s nowhere near as bad as people – who don’t even watch it BTW – allege it to be.
It’s more hit and miss, and even the “misses” will boast a clever moment or two.
I agree, Ed. It’s still a good show. Every now and then, there’s a great episode, and most other episodes are at least decent with a few clever moments. Last night’s episode was a rather good episode.
American Dad has become the funniest show in this line up. Fox needs to put it back in it’s regular slot and cut the garbage
I agree. I’ll take American Dad over Family Guy or the Cleveland Show anytime. Why it’s scheduled at that weak time slot is beyond me.
cleveland show is da best
yeah, I’m really liking The Cleveland Show (what? No shame no shame). I used to enjoy American Dad but these types of shows seem to run out of ideas quick.
Family Guy is horrible, unoriginal and stupid. But American Dad is really funny. I hope they keep AD.
You’re even more pathetic than Ed, Nelly.
Lowlife gutter trash.
I’ve always been a big fan of the Simpsons, no matter what the season. It’s a television classic, unafraid to criticize television and its own network and still one of the best shows on TV. I’ve really grown to like American Dad. Cleveland is usually amusing and I’m on the edge concerning Family Guy. Some weeks it’s very funny and sharp, other weeks just it just panders to the lowest instincts of mankind. Bob’s Burgers should be pulled from the schedule ASAP.
Last night’s “Simpsons” episode was incredibly smart and funny. The show still surprises me with its wit after all of these years.
I like all the shows except The Cleveland Show. I just can’t get into it. The Simpsons is the best of all the shows, and it’s amazing since it’s been on TV for over 20 years!
Never heard of ‘em.
