Image Credit: Rick Rowell/ABCStock up on prophylactics and penicillin, folks, because Bachelor Pad — ABC’s Bachelor/Bachelorette spinoff that pits former contestants against each other in games of skill and sexual depravity for a cash prize — is returning for a second season this August. While the new group of players has yet to be announced, ABC has been holding casting events (a.k.a. reunions/hook-up fests) with Bachelor/Bachelorette alumni for the past few months — and a network spokesman says producers are “open to all suggestions” from fans. (In fact, I have it on good authority that Team Bachelor reads the message boards on EW.com, so be sure to post your nominees below!) Chris Harrison will return as host.
The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, and Bachelor Pad are all produced by Next Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television.
NO need for Melissa Rycroft to help “host”. She added nothing. Ty Brown would be my first choice for the guys. He is very sweet and VERY cute!
I think she wants to focus on being a mom right now.

I REALLY wish ABC would have thought of what the Ukraine’s Bachelor did~ my vote would definitely have been for Maks on DWTS. I would LOVE to see those episodes! =]

There good looking rejects that already have a following of fans that are familiar with them, so that’s why they choose someone from a past show.
