'Glee': Which couple is getting sex counseling from Holly Holliday next week? -- EXCLUSIVE

We’re less than a week away from the much-anticipated return of Gwyneth Paltrow’s Holly Holliday on Glee and EW has some juicy scoop to reveal about Holly’s second stint at McKinley High. We already broke the news that she would be subbing for the school’s sex ed teacher. But Holly’s sex-pertise will not be reserved solely for the classroom: EW has learned exclusively that she will also be counseling one of the series’ major couples. Which one? [SPOILER ALERT] Newlyweds Emma (Jayma Mays) and Carl (John Stamos).”Holly ends up counseling them a little bit,” says star Matthew Morrison. “It turns out their sex life isn’t all that.” Adds Morrison, “At the same time, I find out the glee club is having a lot of sex and they’re not really informed as to what’s going on. Holly and I come up with an idea to teach them through song about the dangers of sex.”

Morrison adds that by the end of next week’s episode, there’s also potential for a Holly/Will romance. Says the actor, “By the end of the episode, we kind of get together. She has to leave again but there’s a possibility of a future between Will and Holly.” In fact, Paltrow is currently shooting yet another episode of Glee, her third this season.

I’m glad she’s returning but I hope she doesn’t sing three songs in every episode she’s in.

    • Cygnus

I’m smelling a “Reproduction” cover from Grease 2.

      • Rae Lynn

        THAT would be awesome!!!

      • maj

ah, the only reason I watch that movie if I catch it on TV!

      • Tia

Wow. That comment just threw me back to high school.

      • Blusoup

I actually tweeted Brad Falchuk and suggested they sing “Reproduction.” I think that would be perfect.

    • Tina

I am happy that she’s back and getting santittany back together for a bit. I want Brittany and Santana together sooo badddd!!!

      • Margie

        *santittany* LOL, Great!

    • Steph

I don’t even know if I’m glad she’s returning. I like Gwyneth as an actress, but I’m getting really tired of people fawning over her singing, which is nothing compared to the singing talent of most of the regular cast on Glee. The last episode she was on was almost entirely about her, which seemed really unnecessary. Glee doesn’t need the guest star gimmick, it would be better off to give story lines to the tons of characters who are already on the show.

    Gwenyth Paltrow = severely overrated

    • Kmb

      Glee = severely overrated.

      • Andy

Anonymity on Comment Boards = Overrated

      • Rich

People who hate Glee and still bother to post comments on articles for Glee = severely annoying

      • Will

        Rich comment = severely funny

      • Jeremy Sheer

People who love Glee Like I do and are annoyed by this season=Genius

  • K

Not that I want to hear Gwyneth Paltrow perform it, but this is exactly the kind of episode for Salt-n-Pepa’s “Let’s Talk About Sex”…which I love!!! If it ever made it onto the show, however, Mercedes and Santana are the only girls with enough attitude to rap without irritating me.

    • ST

Oh my gosh K, that would be AWESOME!! Love this idea. I hope they end up doing that.

    • Bohemiben

That was the first song I thought about when they said they would educate the kids about sex through song.

My only question is, will Gwyneth wear a condom over her eye a la Left Eye (RIP) from TLC?

  • waya

Please don’t let her sing! My ears still hurt from all those flat notes during the Oscars.

  • Flip

The “dangers of sex”? Jeezus Chryst!!!

  • Brenda Barrett

I wouldn’t call Carl and Emma a “major couple.” Emma’s hardly even been on this season. Btw, she is one of my favorites and I still want her to end up with Will after he does A LOT of maturing.

  • tickles

Ya think Quinn having a baby last season would have tipped Will off that the Glee club is not exactly a sex free zone. At this point I think only Rachel and Kurt are still virgins.

    • Jackie

Probably Mercedes too. Kurt was the first guy she liked (and we know how that went), and we never heard anything about her and the football player.

    • SC

It doesn’t seem like Mike and Tina have slept together, what little we see of them. I don’t know that Lauren has slept with anyone either.

Sam was also seemingly a virgin while dating Quinn, since she wouldn’t put out; of course, he’s now boarded the Santana express, so I doubt that’s still the case, but it hasn’t been confirmed.

So call it five virgins and one possible virgin.

    • Jeremy Sheer

FALSE Rachel did it with Puck to get back at Finn. Everyone except Kurt has done it.

      • Chase

Rachel did not sleep with Puck. He wouldn’t go through with it.

  • grandpajoe

I would start watching Glee with Gwyneth

  • Alex

Very excited for this. Love me some Paltrow.

    • Jeremy Sheer

She is AWFUL once on GLEE is enough! she should go back to acting.

  • Tracy

    GP= overrated
why don’t they spend their money on something with a little more staying power

  • Emily

Yeah, cause youngish high school teachers (especially one always seems REALLY interested in his students’ personal lives) don’t know that a lot of teens are having (unprotected) sex. Sure…And sex ed through song? If they couldn’t find a song opposed to drinking, how the hell are they going to find one opposed to sex?

  • C

You would think after Santana freaking spilled the beans in Special Ed. about her and Finn that Schue would care. But he suddenly does NOW?
and really? last week alcohol this week sex? what other after school lesson can they think of?

  • Danna

as long as she get Finchel and Britanna together then i reallt dont care!

  • Shh

Gwyneth go back to movies, this show doesn’t deserve you.

  • Jeremy Sheer

This show as much I love it is begining to Peak. By Season 3 is going to suck. Also, Community on NBC is a lovely show.
