Image Credit: Insidefoto/PR PhotosKeira Knightley may have bowed out of a fourth Pirates of the Carribean movie, but that doesn’t mean she’s quite ready to give up the pirate-themed projects. The actress has signed on to voice Tinker Bell in Syfy’s Peter Pan prequel Neverland, the network announced.
The four-hour, live-action film will be be written and directed by Nick Willing, who previously directed NBC’s 2009 Alice in Wonderland TV movie.
In the movie, a young Peter (Charlie Rowe, Pirate Radio) and his gang of pickpockets are accidentally transported to Neverland while attempting to steal a magical orb for their mentor Jimmy Hook (Rhys Ifans, Notting Hill). There, they meet Tinker Bell, the leader of a colony of tree spirits whose world is in danger. The movie also stars Pushing Daisies‘ Anna Friel and apparent Pan-enthusiast Bob Hoskins, who also starred in 1991′s Hook.
It is scheduled to air in December.

I wonder if her animated character will be stick thin?
It’s not nice to insult someone because of their weight.
Sorry, mom.
Notting Hill, perhaps?
Knotting Hill? Seriously, EW?
Sounds awesome!!! Once I saw that Bob Hoskins was going to be in it, that immediately made me excited!!
Wonderful write-up, I’ll bookmark this.
