Image Credit: Eric Ogden/TNTAngie Harmon fans, rejoice! TNT announced today that her hit drama Rizzoli & Isles, along with The Closer, will return to the cabler’s lineup on July 11. The summer schedule will also include the premiere of the sci-fi series Falling Skies starring Noah Wyle (June 19), and the premiere of the dramedy Franklin & Bash featuring Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Breckin Meyer.
Also returning this summer: Men of a Certain Age (June 1), Leverage (June 26), HawthoRNe (June 14) and Memphis Beat (June 14).
Last summer, TNT ranked as the No. 1 basic cable network in its targeted 25-54 demographic.
So excited for another season of Rizolli & Isles.

I actually only started watching the show because Sasha was “Kate” on NCIS. I’d wager I’m not alone in that.

Yeah, the Angie Harmon fans line didn’t sit too well me either. I like Angie Harmon, but Sasha Alexander is my main reason for watching Rizzoli & Isles. I miss Kate on NCIS. lol.

What about Sasha Alexander???? I loved her playing Kate on NCIS! Don’t get me wrong I like Angie Harmon too but the show would be nothing without BOTH of them.

Love every one of these shows. It took me a minute to warm up to Men, but now I love it.
I*m surprised that R&I is coming back. No offense to Ms Alexander and Ms. Harmon. Falling Skies should be good, though.

I like the show, but the plots are a bit silly and Ms. Alexander can’t seem to act???? Scriptwriter needs to tighten things up a bit.
I hate the way cable schedules shows. The network shows will be in reruns in May, so why not start the cable shows earlier and have them run longer? I always miss the first show or two of The Closer because I forget about it. They keep them off too long.
