Private Practice star Grant Show has landed a role on USA’s Burn Notice. The actor will have a recurring part in the upcoming fifth season, playing Max, a CIA operative. Show will appear in three episodes, starting with the season premiere (which is intriguingly titled, “Company Man”).

Show has been a busy man of late; he also has a role on HBO’s Big Love this year.

USA has yet to reveal the premiere date for Burn Notice — this summer is a safe bet — though it has announced that the eagerly anticipated prequel movie starring Bruce Campbell, Burn Notice: The Fall of Sam Axe, will air April 17. Today, USA announced return dates for the third season of White Collar and second run of Covert Affairs. Both will debut this summer, airing Tuesdays starting June 7.

Usually Burn Notice starts in August, so I am betting Thursday August 4 at 10.

My guess is in July 14, although I wish that July begins next month, that way (the show) could have twice as many episodes. I just wish that it starts soon.

Sorry, but Burn Notice peaked in its second season. The fourth season was unwatchable–nothing more than weak rehash of old stories. I keep expecting Ted McGinley to show up.

To each his own, I thought the fourth year might have been the best and that the second year was the worst (although I still love it).

The thing about Burn Notice (for me,anyways) is that I enjoy the characters much more than the plot. Looking forward to the prequel movie. I hope that they’re all in it…including Maddy. Love her!

Sounds good to me. I love Burn Notice. Every season has been stellar.

Great to see Jake Hanson on Burn. He’s been busy lately-what do you mean, where has he been? And I’m looking forward to a rejuvinated BN because now Michaels going to be back with the Company! Its got to be better than that botched abortion fourth season, esp with Jesse-that dudes like a fourth wheel!

I can’t wait for the season premiere of season 5. What I’m wondering is if Dylan Baker will return at the beginning of the season and who exactly is he and is his character a friend or foe?
Does anyone know when Season 5 starts and what other guest stars may appear?

people, it begins and ends with Bruce Campbell.
