James Lipton + Eric Stonestreet + Ty Burrell = pure, soundbite moments for Bravo!
EW just learned the cast of Modern Family has booked an appearance on Inside the Actors Studio. The six leads of the hit comedy — Stonestreet, Burrell, Julie Bowen, Sofia Vergara, Ed O’Neill, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson — will tape the episode May 16 in New York.
Production on the current season of Family wrapped on Friday. Season-to-date, the comedy is ranked No. 4 among adults 18-49 and ranks No. 19 among total viewers. Its the third most watched comedy on TV, behind Two and a Half Men and Big Bang Theory.

I usually like watching one performer reflect on his work, but the show’s been reaching in that regard for a long time. (As funny as it was…Conan O’Brien? Really?!)
This should be pretty interesting, especially because I really enjoyed the one with the cast of “The Simpsons.”
I still can’t believe so many people watch Two And A Half Men. They put the “eck” in dreck.
I like when a full cast goes on that show, so I’ll definitely be looking forward to it. I do wish they had waited a while so the cast can have a retrospect like the cast of Everyone Loves Raymond did.
I don’t care for MF, but the cast is mostly good so I’ll tune in. Ty was excellent in Out of Practices – a show that should have remained on for 6-7 seasons.
Thank goodness none of the obnoxious child actors will be on this show.
The child actors on this show are priceless, not obnoxious.
Manny is obnoxious.
Manny is hilarious.
Hey now! I happen to adore Manny. As for the cast’s appearance, I’m excited to see how they do in this format.
They really should have the kids on too.
no they shouldn’t. the kids are cute and funny, but Inside the Actors Studio is a place for accomplished actors. The kids are too young.
“Inside the Actors Studio is a place for accomplished actors”…such as, Martin Lawrence?
such as Jennifer Lopez and Cameron Diaz
Awesome!
I’m with Mr. Holloway. I think James Lipton has run out of potential interviewees. I love Modern Family but I wouldn’t call the cast worthy of being on the same stage where Meryl Streep, Al Pacino, Tom Hanks, etc talked about acting. I think Inside the Actor’s Studio jumped the shark when they had Will Ferrell on.
So they keep having those 3 people come on every time?
I will be definitely watching!
ITAS doesn’t have the same prestige as it once did but i’ll prob. catch it on DVR
