I love this show. It is the best show on TV. This shows what our military and their family and friends go through at times. I cried this entire show this week. This showed what people go through. I salute all military and their families. I keep you all in prayer.
When Jeremy died i cried for the longest time . This show connects to so many army wives or mother that have children in the army and it touches my heart . I was never into the caring of the people in the army until army wives aired and now i am so connected to the show and i feel for the people that are so strongly for our country . I want to think everyone that gives there life for the American people today .
Who needs to watch reality T.V. garbage when there is spectacular writing and storytelling like Army Wives on television. Never cried during a television show before.
My brother is in the army and my husband is in the navy, he has been to war three times, and it’s heartbreaking the hard one was when my brother was in iraq a home ve blew up in front of him his best friend pushed my brother away and his best friend died right there without a second to think, my brother had to go out to the field and pick his best friends body pieces up, that it harsh reality, till this day my brother suffers PTSD, me and my family delivered the mentals to his best friends parents, another thing in order to really understand it is to have someone in the military, but I have been watching army wives since season one, and everything these wives do is what I did as a navy wive, the wives and children go through hell worring about there love ones, the hard thing is a lot of people don’t care about the war unless someone they love are in it, I have three children I pray to god my children don’t enlist, but if they do i would understand and will support, and worry all the time, and your always sick to your stomach, but as so far as the show people are making perdiction on the show samie, there is nothing wrong with that I wish no one would die on the show, but if noone dies on the show it’s not showing reality, but like I said your not going to walk in thoses shoes unless you are a military wive, or if you have a love one in, but i also thought it would of been chase, because he is always taking off, and noone ever knows where he is, it doesn’t have anything to do with living or living off post, we lived off post and I was still a navy wives, and had navy wive friends, but it’s always harder for the spouse that’s left behind while your husband or wives is in war, and trying to explain to children where there dad or mom is, or when they ask when there coming home, why they are leaving,or not getting any sleep because you are worring, but like the show explains you have to be strong, and take care of your own when they are over seas. I really hope this helps.
i AM A MILITARY DAUGHTER, MOTHER AND SPOUSE. MY HUSBAND WAS DEPLOYED 4 YEARS AGO AND MY SON JUST CAME BACK IN JUNE. IF THIS SHOW WOULD HAVE BEEN LAST YEAR THEN I WOULD HAVE BEEN DEVASTATED BECAUSE I LIVED IN FEAR EVERY DAY THAT MY SON WAS NOT COMING BACK. EVERYTIME A STRANGE CAR DROVE DOWN THE ROAD I HELD MY BREATH. THIS WAS VERY REALISTIC. MY HUSBAND IS A COMBAT MEDIC AND WHEN THEY DID NOT PURSUE CPR WAS CORRECT BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO REMAIN FOCUS ON THE TASK AND THE WOUNDED. FRANK IS A SUPERB ACTOR, THE HARDEST THING WOULD BE TO ACCOMPANY YOUR SON’S BODY HOME. I PRAISED THE LORD THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE SHOW FOR BRINGING MY SON AND HUSBAND HOME SAFELY. I AM SO BLESSED BUT THERE ARE SO MANY MILITARY FAMILIES WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED THE SAME LOSS THAT THE SHOW PORTRAYED. GOOD JOB.
I am happy to see the response that Sunday nights episode received. I know that my co-workers and I could not stop talking about it on Monday and I cried all over again. This is some of the best writing and acting on television and I certainly hope that this show and its actors get recognition. It is so far above most of the lame shows that are on the major television stations. Thank you to Lifetime and everyone involved in this wonderful show!
I, myself, thought it was going to be Chase b/c the previous week’s show left us hanging on that Pamela wanted him back…finally! I did not and do not want to see any of our beloved characters die. I’m sure it wasn’t an easy choice for the writers either and I thank them for doing such a superb job with this episode. I cried my eyes out as soon as the black car rolled up to Tonya’s bridal shower. I feel for Denise b/c she is in shock which will lead to guilt over “allowing” Jeremy to reup. I think the dynamic between Denise and Roland is going to be something to watch b/c I bet he is blaming himself also for helping Jeremy get better. I have watched this show since the beginning and love it. God Bless our troops, no matter what branch or where they are.
army wives is a wonderful show i have been watching it since the season 1. the show gives me a deep feeling of pride for all the men and women who serve and served the acting is superb by all. also in my job i have been involved one way or another in military funerals and must say you did last weeks show very lifelike. i am a 62 yearold who served in vietnam in the airforce and work for the va at a national cemetery. hope army wives wins a emey this year thank you again to all the actors crew director and all involved and most of all the creator.

This show is very heart wrenching. Military life is very hard and you loose alot of friends and family to war. My husband was in the Marines years ago. And I would like to take this time to Thank all Marines,Army,Navy and Air Force men and women for what you have done and what you are doing to let us at home stay FREE. You are all very brave. And thank you to the families of those military members it is a hard sacrafice you have to deal with also.
Does anyone know if it was the writer’s choice to have Jeremy die or was it the actor’s choice to leave the show. Just would like to know…..
I love watching Army Wives. It’s very heartwrenching and authentic. I have all of Army Wives seasons 1 through 4. Now I’m waiting for season 5 so I can buy it. For the casters and writers, they get a five star. “Job well done and excellent performance!!”
I recently started watching all seasons of Army Wives cause I have too many shows that I watch and this episode really got me crying alot. It was really sad on all accounts. I found myself tearing up on every scene. Boy, that was some great acting!!!
I can’t believe I missed last nights episode…how can I watch it on the computer????
Army Wives is an outstanding show and has been since it began.
The writing, acting, directing and character development are superb.
The recent episode, “From a Grateful Nation” was beautifully done.
Everything was thoroughly realistic and brilliantly acted.
I have been on the receiving end of such a visit from the Armed Forces. The writers truly got this right.
