Ready to bear witness to The Fall of Sam Axe? The trailer for USA’s Burn Notice prequel starring Bruce Campbell is here: Quips, heroism, ‘splosions. This first look at the project seems to have all the elements. See below:

The prequel is set before the events of Burn Notice and stars Campbell in the origin story of his Sam Axe character, back when he was a Navy SEAL. If you're a Campbell fan who hasn't gotten into Burn Notice yet, this is the movie to see. The Fall of Sam Axe airs April 17 and the fifth season of Burn Notice will air sometime this summer.

      I know Right!!!!

Anything with ‘Bruce Campbell stars in’… I’m all in!

    • Kurt Russell

      Briscoe County rides again!

  • Morgan

Well I’m pretty darn tired of Michael Weston, so a movie just Sam is fine by me!

  • Eli

Ha, love that they worked in his fans’ nickname for him.

  • Dee

I can’t wait. Sam is one of my favorite things about BN, and nobody can deliver a line like Bruce Campbell can.

  • frank

How about doing another Evil Dead movie, now thats a sequel i would want to see.

  • parkR

I originally thought that they were going to hire a younger looking Bruce (w/ the actual Bruce supporting the film). Now that he is actually the star of the film… did he lose some weight? (emphasis on some)

    • Bethie R

Yeah, I couldn’t figure out how they were going to star a “younger” Sam, this being a prequel and all. But props to Bruce Campbell. Clearly he lost some weight, and they either left his hair its natural color or took out the Burn Notice-Sam grey. He looks years younger. Can’t wait to watch this.

    • yummycupcake

wait, how did they make him look so young? looking at BC in this clip makes my privates tingle. He looks as good as he did in Army of Darkness! LOL.

  • David F.

    Hail to the King, baby.

  • Rio

Yeah!!! He was the reason I started watching BN in the first place.

  • fingerbo

    Oh yeah! Can’t wait!

  • tvfan

Looking forward to it since I heard about it! Sam Axe is awesome!

  • Bella

I can hardly wait. I love Bruce Campbell/Sam Axe. Michael Westen was fun at first, but now he’s not so fun and his studied way of talking gets tiresome after a bit. I tune in for Sam, Fiona and Michael’s mom.

    • ks

me too plus the Charger that they better bring back.

  • MWeyer

    “It’s the Chin.” LOVE IT!

LOL, “very groovy” – perfectly cheesy.

  • Carrie

Very cool. I love “Burn Notice” and I love Sam, so I’m definitely looking forward to this.
