'The Celebrity Apprentice' delivers season highs

CBS dominated on Sunday thanks to an NCAA overrun and originals of The Amazing Race and Undercover Boss but NBC earned some bragging rights: The Celebrity Apprentice delivered a season-high rating among adults 18-49 (3.0/8) and total viewers (8.5 million) and is up versus the same night last year by 7 percent.  For more on last night’s episode, check out Dalton Ross’ recap here.

CBS won the night in the demo (3.2/9) and viewers (12.5 million). Fox came in second in the demo (2.2/6) after airing mostly repeats.  NBC, which also aired an original of America’s Next Great Restaurant (1.3/4), was third in the demo. ABC aired repeats of Desperate Housewives and Brothers & Sisters

How stupid of ABC to air repeats now instead of airing repeats against the Grammys and the globes. Apprentice is the must see show know-how superb casting

I so agree!! I didn’t understand the logic with that one either. Dumb move ABC.

I enjoyed the Amazing Race (best reality show!!!) but I also liked the drama and humor on Celebrity Apprentice.

Yes! This is my Sunday lineup as well. I hate when AR starts late, it means that I can’t watch the whole of Celebrity Apprentice

ABC needs to get back in the ratings boost ’cause CBS still hurts us but I think Celebrity Apprentice needs to get renewed for another season at NBC. Gary Busey is one wild and crazy guy.

The Amazing Race, Undercover Boss and Celebrity Apprentice are three of the best reality shows on Sundays. ABC better get their act together.

Why do 3 of the networks seem to flood their lineups with reality shows on Sunday? It’s a bit much with what they’re doing this year. But I agree, they should have aired new episodes of Desperate Housewives and Brothers and Sisters, to get that two month run of new shows going between March and May. They never did that years ago on the networks; they always cranked out new shows for the rest of the season, with only one rerun for a break in late February.

They’re cheaper to produce and because there are many good cable shows on Sundays.

Lisa Rena was just on Access Hollywood and casually mentioned Lotoya Jackson gets fired.? Are these guys not tied to some confidentality agreement??????

Shocked LaToya gave prized shirt for charity!! Pressure of being confronted in boardroom? Someone should have said, “no LaToya. That item is a family heirloom” .

I saw celebrity apprentice tonight and I think Meatloaf needs to grow some meatballs.
