Here’s a provocative piece of casting news from CBS’ The Good Wife: The drama’s scribes tweeted Tuesday that Sarah Silverman will guest star in episode 222.
Sadly, there weren’t any more details so we’ll have to speculate, for now, what the comedienne will play. The judges on the drama have been particularly memorable (and funny), so Silverman donning a black robe would be a particularly awesome development. Stay tuned…

Yeah, I’m sure Sarah’s generic brand of poop and anus jokes will fit right in with the mood of the show *eyeroll*.
She must have a heck of an agent because she is so UNFUNNY.
She did play both a prosecutor and defense attorney at the same time on “The Sarah Silverman Program” in the landmark case of her against a cassette tape of “Home Alone” She could pull it off..whatever part she may be playing.
Come on producers have some faith in yourselves! The show can stand on its own without the need for stunt casting.
This isn’t stunt casting, they’ve had plenty of recognizable actors as guests; Anna Gasteyer, Denis O’Hare (aka “Russell Edgington” from True Blood), Michael J. Fox, Rita Wilson and America Ferrera, to name a few. Sarah’s role will probably be something unexpected but humorous nonetheless.
Sorry but should the headline read “to star!” Kind of misleading if she is going to be one episode…hardly a starring role. Another note, episode 222? Is this the title of the episode or just a typo?

That would be my guess also, especially since Eli Gold’s daughter was just added to the cast of characters, and also made reference to her mother during conversation with him. I only hope Silverman’s stint on The Good Wife won’t exceed more than two episodes.
She is super annoying and not funny at all. But so far the show has done an excellent job with guest stars.

Maybe she won’t be a judge. Maybe just another crazy client that Lockhardt/Gardner has to represent or the DA has to call as a witness.
I just read from the Good Wife’s facebook page, that she’ll play a woman who hosts an Ashley Madison type website, a hook up site for married people, she’s sued by a woman who blames the site for her husband’s murder, and that’s when Silverman’s character goes to Lockhart/Gardner.
