FIRE JANUARY! SAVE MAD MEN!
stop being a dumbass
Heh-heh. Weiner.
What you’re really running from is the blog you, you, you made.
Cutting 2 characters each season for 3 years (and that’s just what they’re saying now…who knows what shenanigans they’ll try to pull when it’s time for the actors to re-up) would cause a creative vacuum. EVERY storyline, existing and potential, would be affected. At first there would be breathless speculation – who are they gonna kill off? Who’s leaving? Oh no, Roger’s crossing the street, this is it, I can’t watch…! But then it would just be boring. No amount of money is worth surrendering that much creative control – especially since everything on Mad Men came out of Weiner’s head. Sounds like some suits have gotten a big head and think they can run the show without the people who made it great. They’ll find out that’s not the case, and we’ll all lose.
I hereby nominate Kurt Sutter for an “STFA” (Shut the **** Up Award) in the category of “Who Asked That Guy?” That brings the grand total of his nominations to… let’s see… two.
man i’m getting a really bad feeling about this
