slowest “live blog” i’ve ever seen.

    • saboo

No kidding, this is lame. EW, you are blowing this just as bad as Sheen

  • breeze

Hope the show goes well for Charlie, but sounds like he needs some good wtiters and producers working with him .. you be the star, the producer, writer and director all at the same time, even if you think you can. That said, hope you’re winning Charlie. And getting help does not mean that you’re losing.

    • breeze

      * you can’t be the star, the producer, writer and director all at the same time, even if you think you can.

      • D’s Advocate

Orson Welles and Warren Beatty, among others, would like a word.

      • RaRa

@D’s Advocate: Charlie is obviously not in the same league with Orson and Warren.

Just goes to show you, without the writers Charlie is diddly squat.

      • Kat

Got that right I am bored

  • Morbid Fascination

I just think it’s awesome that we are getting a play by play of this evening’s show. Not that I would have, but now I don’t have buy a ticket to find out how this train derails.

  • Kat

I can’t believe how bad the Detroit show is sell your tickets quick he sucks

    • Kat

Charlie is on stage mentally jerking himself off he is bad

  • DIGSDIZZLE

SOOO, WHAT’S THE SCORE OF THE GAME, SINCE THIS *@#! IS SO LAME!

  • Kat

I was rooting for him but I can now see he is the same as the trolls he rants about he stole our money

  • LOL

Hibberd is doing the rest of America a favor. Now everyone knows not to spend a dime on this stuff.

    • Tee

      Like that wasn’t already obvious.

  • samantha

I have no idea why I am so interested in this show, but I really appreciate the updates!!! I was hoping for the best but expecting the worst and it looks like things worked out how I expected…oh well

    • GLORIA AGUIRRE

Me too!! I have been sitting here with a loaded bowl and some Doritos hopoing this would be amusing and make me want to run out and get tickets to the Denver show but I will have to wait and see what happens. Maybe he will learn from this show and the next will be better?

  • Zoe

Maybe he’ll be a prodigal son and this is the riotous living phase. Ya think? And we know his dad will “take him back”. And the interesting twist — (unlike the Bible story) looks like his brother Emilio would too! Meanwhile, he’s telling crack jokes. Does he have this city pegged or what!

  • @moviemanstan

That’s about what I assumed it would be like…an incomprehensible mess. Anyone who willingly paid for a ticket deserves what they got.

  • DIGSDIZZLE

Word on the streets of Detroit .. buy one crack rock get one free with a Charlie ticket stub!

    • DIGSDIZZLE

At this point I think the city of Detroit has a better chance of a come back than good ol Charlie.

      • Beezer

Haha! Props, man. I freaking live in this hellhole. I didn’t go to this, thank God.
I don’t leave because, like the rest of Detroit, I think someone ELSE will fix it. If not, who can’t afford a house for 1000.00?

  • Zoe

A very, very, long riotous living phase.

  • bob

All the way from Toronto. James, do you own a map?

  • Tina

Attendee Chris Acchione, who came all the way from Toronto for the show, says, “He’s making a fool of himself. Is there a bigger loser in the world?”

Apparently it’s some guy named Chris who actually drove all the way from Toronto to listen to this drugged, overprivileged idiot and expected anything other than what he got. Somebody and his money were soon parted, anyway.

    • D’s Advocate

      ^Bingo.
