Charlie Sheen talks about his live show changes: 'There's a couple things here I've got to [expletive] work out'

Charlie Sheen spoke out about his live show Monday, saying that its still a work in progress but that overall his changes unveiled in Chicago are “f—ing working.”

In an interview with E!, Sheen says “There’s a couple things here I’ve got to f—ing work out. I don’t know if I start the show alone and it turns into this [a Q&A format] or I just stay with this ’cause it’s f—ing working and we’ll f—ing return to it if I don’t.”

Sheen added that he stayed up to 5:30 a.m. after the Detroit performance tweaking the show, then spent all day Sunday making revisions as well. Still, his team considered throwing in the towel: “There was a moment on the bus when it was like, we can just keep going, we can drive home. I’m like, yeah, that’s what losers do, man. F— it, you know? Maybe I just, you know, needed a bigger challenge.”

Stop the bus, I want to get off.

    • Jay

No way, man… the best drugz are on this bus. Why would you want off?

      • bb

Cause the highway patrol is gaining speed in the rear-view window.

      • stu

push charlie in front of the bus.

      • Jenn

        Hibberd is a quiff.
ENOUGH ABOUT SHEEN, pathetic EW shills.

  • kcusick

Charlie sure had an eventful weekend, but not nearly as busy as Southwest Airlines’. We’ve got it all covered at The Loop Now, along with the usual daily collection of mirth, whimsy and the truthy, now-almost-ancient “Day in the Life of Charlie Sheen.”

Can anyone guess which website filled with “mirth and whimsy” that I will never visit?

      • Nick

        that one

  • LOL

With a new infusion of tiger blood, the Warlock is reborn. Winning!

    • Ziggy

Jimmy Buffet trademarked the phrase tiger blood. Too late.

“Sheen added that he stayed up to 5:30 a.m. after the Detroit performance tweaking the show.”

I believe the operative word here is “tweaking”.

      EXCELLENT

      • LOL

        Excellent indeed.

    • PJ

Exactly, and Charlie is the show, so the sentence should have read, “Sheen added that he stayed up to 5:30am after the Detroit performance tweaking, then spent all day Sunday making revisions to the show.” LOL The “show” is just Sheen ranting and answering questions on stage. I hope EW stops reporting on him because this is beyond stupid. Paying to watch a celebrity spin further out of control is not entertainment. It’s twisted. Stop the insanity!

  • Blake

I cannot wait until this freak OD’s.

    • Jen

What a sick thing to say … I find it disgusting that people are laughing and judging this man when clearly he is well on his way to killing himself. He is a human being and while he doesn’t deserve our pity, he does deserve some compassion. I doubt addiction is really all that fun.

  • Mary Richards

there is no reason to blame Detroit for a bad show…

  • Alison

He should have kept driving…I felt bad how people were making so much noise(ruined the show for me) but not everybody in the audience was making it tough for him…for him to just say he hates all of detroit now is just stupid. There were a lot of people out there who were trying to listen. Not that I expect Charlie Sheen to realize this and not hate all of Detroit…he is a douchebag in general. Oh well. Detroit doesn’t suck…they just didn’t enjoy being your guinea pigs so you could make all your next shows better.

  • Lisa Simpson

Needed a bigger challenge? All he did was show up, put on a half-a$$ed show, and collect money from a lot of poor deluded idiots who think that this loser is living the American Dream. That’s about as easy money as it gets.

  • jake

Wow!! I think he just officially killed his career, that show could not possibly get any worse

  • Bella

If nothing else, he has certainly proven that he didn’t write any of his own material on Two and Half Men. He sounds incoherent and nonsensical.

  • joejoe

Eh, still better than Spider-man Turn Off the Dark.

  • Lily

Charlie Sheen behaves like he has some kind of alien blood in him. He’s sick and sickening.

  • JD

This whole thing is obviously one big Joaquin. He’s doing the whole thing for publicity!

    • anonymous

I think that even Joaquin would be offended by that comparison.

  • Mia

I truly look forward to the time when this man is finally placed in the looney bin where he belongs and the press will no longer care about reporting his every move.

    • angelwhiteraven

I’m not familiar with the criteria for a 5150 hold but can’t someone in his family get him some help? I figure it’s only a matter of time before I turn on the morning news and hear he’s overdosed.

      • angelwhiteraven

I meant to say: “and hear he has overdosed” My bad!

  • SxyCindy

Great show Charlie! Even better, the after party on Charlie’s bus. My head is still spinning! WINNING! THANK YOU MR. CHARLIE SHEEN FOR ONE HELL OF A NIGHT! OH MY GOD. XXX
