Mike Tyson is stepping into the primetime ring.

The former boxing champ has signed up for a guest spot on Fox’s new comedy Breaking In, appearing as himself on the show’s first season finale.

Tyson plays a new client of Contra Security who becomes involved in a case that’s investigating a teen cyber bully. The bully causes Oz (Christian Slater) and his Contra team to go undercover at a high school (à la 21 Jump Street).

Last week, Breaking In premiered as Fox’s highest-rated live action sitcom telecast in years (its second episode, which guest stars Alyssa Milano, airs tonight after American Idol, with NASCAR champ Jimmie Johnson next week). Tyson will also appear in this summer’s The Hangover 2.

I hope they reconsider. He’s an unrepentant rapist, and although the show’s cute, it’s not good enough to keep watching if they bring him on board.

“so dont judge someone that has accomplished more in his life than you ever will”

That would include raping someone. And the legal system judged him first.

The man lost his daughter. He’s received his karmic retribution. Let him try and make the most of his life.
