Back in March, before One Tree Hill took a six-week break, from which it returned last night, we found out that Professor Kellerman’s young son — and now Nathan’s young star talent — was involved in the crash that nearly claimed the life of Nathan’s son. And even though last night’s ep focused on a lot of baby drama, Nathan’s work has only begun.
“I think Nathan’s gotten himself into something here,” says Lafferty. “I think he feels like he has to do some detective work. Whether or not he should be taking it upon himself remains to be seen. He definitely is going to pursue the truth, and I think it’s possible he will bite off more than he can chew.”
And a warning to the Kellermans… and anyone else involved: Nathan’s ready for a fight.
“It’s definitely possible that a little bit of the old Nathan could come out. Nathan’s been known to lose his temper,” Lafferty teases. “At the same time, he’s also learned a lot. I think fans can definitely expect some sort of confrontation, but with who and how will definitely be a bit of a surprise for them.”

One Tree Hill airs Tuesdays on the CW.

One Tree Hill needs a little tension. Probably turn out that baseball prodigy was driving the truck not the professor. After 10 years I could write this stuff.
I think it’s the other way around since they want us to think it was his son.
I love him and ukmatchmakers.net was amazing
Love OTH. I really hope it comes back for another season.
When he discovered the truck in the garage I assumed it was the son, not the professor. And then the drama of him representing him… I actually think if it was the professor who got in the accident, it would be more interesting.
I agree, it would be way more interesting if we found out it was the professor.
meh!
It’s time for Nathan to go all “Dan Scott” on somebody!!
YES! And bring back Dan…and Rachel. I still love OTH but this season has been very drama free. The episode with the hurricane and the car accident was great though. While we’re at it, bring back Keith’s ghost!
Oh, I used to watch that show a long time ago.. Is he still with Haley?
Yes, the just had a baby in the last episode.
This show is still on??
TOTALLY agree. I was actually shocked to see it was!
It’s finishing up it’s 8th season!
“…was involved in the crash that nearly claimed the lives of Nathan’s son.”
It’s either: “claimed the life of Nathan’s son” or “claimed the lives of Nathan’s sons”. Pick one, you can’t use both.
It nearly claimed the lives of Nathan’s son and Brooke so “lives” is correct it’s just ‘Brooke’ that’s missing.
How many sons does he have now? Is it just Jamie?
Yes, Nathan and Haley have Jamie, who’s probably about 7 now. And they just had a baby girl in the last episode – Lydia, named after Haley’s mom who passed away last season.
From the article: “…was involved in the crash that nearly claimed the lives of Nathan’s son.”

Exactly how many LIVES dies Nathan’s son have?
*does*
wait…sandra, do you watch oth? if so, can you write about it more?
Seconded! It’s so absent from these sites, whereas that trash Gossip Girl is all I can hear about – despite lower ratings.
How in the world can this crap still be on?
I know, so many good shows have bitten the dust & this boring thing is STILL on.
One Tree Hill is just so boring to me now.
“NOW?!!?” Girl, the show has about 3 good episodes each year, and they all revolve around the psychos. When they’re dead, so is the season. Note to Mark: ramp up the stakes, or get out.
I stopped watching after Lucas and Peyton (Chad and Hilarie) left at the end of Season 6, but it’s never good when Nathan reverts back to ‘Old Nathan’. Ha.
Why confront? Call the cops.
Do me a favor Lia … NEVER write TV shows.
I 2nd that!
