Dude shaved his head for 8 years only to be fired. I would not shave my head for a few eps. Let him rock the bald cap.
He wasn’t fired tardo. After SEVEN seasons – when his contract was up – M.R. decided he’d had enough and QUIT the show. Bald cap or no, the fans should be glad he decided to return so the series could get a proper finale. (Because the writers and producers sure have screwed up royally this season with their portrayal of Darkseid even worse they they did with Doomsday.)
Um… the only reason you say “the bald cap looks bad” is because you were told he was wearing a bald cap in advance. In reality, he looks exactly the same in these images as he did back when he shaved his head. You are just imagining things. Unless you have Clark’s X-ray vision…
He couldn’t shave his head due to contractual obligations to his new show. that’s his boss and he can’t do anything that screws with that gig. They didn’t want him shaving his head for this one off they allowed him time to do as a courtesy to the older show. so no shaving.

Yes you can obviously tell if you’re looking for it, it’s insane if you can’t, the head is bigger.. BUT he was supposed to have lost his hair in the storm and he ALWAYS had a 5′oclock shadow too.. so you suspend disbelief either way.

Best line ever. That episode of Smallville was a nice epic look at the true darkness of Lex Luthor.
