Charlie Sheen tour looking to invade foreign countries

Charlie Sheen has wrapped his Violent Torpedo of Truth Tour, but now he’s hoping to take it abroad. “I might do a European leg of this thing,” he told EW last night at a Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation charity gala in Los Angeles, which he attended with one of his “goddesses,” model Natalie Kenly (pictured). Sheen says if he’s learned one thing about live performing from the tour it’s, “Leave it to the experts … It was a process. Had I trusted in that earlier, things like Detroit never would have happened. I just would have gone out there with a mic and said, ‘What’s going on? How we doing? Here’s how I’m doing.’ They’d still be dancing in the streets.”

Sheen guessed the tour raised “upwards of 100 grand” for the Red Cross Japanese Earthquake Fund by donating $1 from each ticket sold. Sheen said he’s now putting together a benefit — a softball/hardball game and concert — for tornado-ravaged Alabama after visiting Tuscaloosa earlier this week. “When you have the focus of the world, direct it where it’s needed. I’m not always at a freaking nightclub or a shopping spree. I’m connected to bring some good to where people are suffering,” he said. As for finding another day job, Sheen said ideas are still brewing for an “epic” TV show, “but I hate to announce stuff before it’s presentable.” In the immediate future, his plans include following the progress of Bryan Stow, the Giants fan who was severely beaten outside Dodger Stadium in March (Sheen donated $20,000 in merchandising profits and audience contributions raised at a Violent Torpedo tour stop in San Francisco to help with medical expenses), and spending time with his children. “No time for a vacation,” Sheen said. “Vacations are for sissies.” (Reporting by Nicholas White)

Wouldn’t this be considered a war crime, letting Sheen loose in other countries? Please stop this before we end up in the Hague.

    • angel sierra

Yeah, stop him now before he helps anyone else right????? Thank God Daniel will give to the charities.

      • Sanderson

@angel — yeah I’m still waiting for my share of the charity proceeds for bipolar people Charlie was squawking about. Apparently publicity because bipolar charity for those of us suffering from bp never happened. Charlie talks a lot, too much, and it’s much ado about nothing. So you know, keep the f*** away from my illness, Charlie.

  • Mel

Thank God his “benevolent” trip to Alabama got lost in the post-bin Laden shuffle. Help like this we *don’t* need.

    • angel sierra

Tell that to the other suffering victims

  • Pauline

    Go Charlie !
In France Topper Harley is cult, iconic character. We just like you Charlie Sheen.
French people are far more open-minded, they don’t really care about famous people wild life-style, they just want to enjoy interesting, funny and smart artists so you are welcomed man !
    We are waiting for you.

    • anonymous

      You can have him.

      • Pauline

Ok we will take him, of course if he wants..haha
But please take Sarkozy with you, it will be a “beautiful” public service for us, french people.
We already have Johnny Depp, Terence Malick, Angelina Jolie, John Malkovich and some other talented artists and Charlie Sheen like i said would be welcomed.

      • angel sierra

Hey , we aint givin up Charlie cuase some wacko nuts dont like him …Most Americans love Charlie

    • Cris

Of course, in France, they heard the words “Violent Torpedo” and immediately surrendered.

    • Joe

In Cleveland he is Rick Vaughn, the Wild Thing.

    Charlie Sheen: The Philanthropist
You have got to be kidding me !

    • angel sierra

no you have already been kidded by Obama ..it fits the profile thats why I know you you support him.

  • Jake

Charlie donating monies to the various causes is wonderful. Good for Charlie, maturing, perhaps thinking of others for a change more than himself.

    • angel sierra

Jake good for you. not too hard on someone you dont know personally…

    • Mel

Maturing? No, he finally realized in order to not be a complete laughingstock he’s just following the orders of his PR people – give to charity, and calm the heck down, etc etc. In his show he is still talking trash about his ex-wife Denise Richards, and to me that wipes out any good will he is trying to buy with his “charity.” Did you notice the words? Sheen “guessed” he raised upwards of $100,000…

  • Cris

You think we can send him to Afghanistan? Not to entertain the troops or anything … just ship him off and drop him off in the middle of the desert.

    • angel sierra

Thats what everyone thinks of doing with you….hahahaha but at least people care for Charlie

      • Gimmeabreak

Get a grip Angel. You sound really stupid. But of course you’re too stupid to know that.

  • anon

““When you have the focus of the world..” Geeze, will his brain ever catch up to his ego? And will he ever stop getting news coverage? Don’t bother with the “You clicked on it” bull, either, I commented to say I’m sick of him, he will never redeem himself, and please stop writing about him.

    • Elly

oh geeeeeezzzzzz maybe you could have more interesting things to do with your time.
      You seem desperate..

      • anon

More interesting than trolling the site insulting people expressing an opinion? You seem idiotic.

      • Elly

I don’t “trolling” the site..I just came to read articles about Charlie Sheen because the guy interests me.
And i did not insult you i just said you seem desperate..truth hurt maybe ?

    • angel sierra

yeah stop writing about him …Start with the man in the mirror

  • Kurt

    STILL WINNING!!

  • jon

Charlie Sheen, you gave drugs to Charlie from Two and Half Men and killed him. Pardon us if we don’t recognize you anymore. Your looks and personality changed. You are a stranger to us you are not Charlie. When people bought tickets to your tours they came to see Charlie from Two and Half Men, but instead they find an imposter, a depleted 75 yr old man. It is a good thing CBS didn’t hire you back, because you look like an entirely different person. CBS might as well hire someone new without the baggage. RIP Charlie.

    • Melly

@jon – well said, he looks old and haggard. No amount of make up can hide that fact. Obviously all that hard living has finally caught up to him.

  • Bobs Yeruncle

Hey EW. Didja know that Toronto, Ontario is not in the United States? Yes, that’s right, Charlie’s tour already hit a foreign country…Canada. Good job fact-checking to write your headline.

  • MichaelEdits

He might as well try foreign countries, since he’s bombing in the US. However, I live in Vietnam, and nobody’s even heard of him here. Cross them off the list, Charlie.
