I absolutely LOVE Chuck! I REALLY hope it survives! Its such a great show
Oh bummer, no one has commented on Detroit 187. I guess not too many of us are watching it.
We see the writing on the wall. ABC crapped all over it.
ABC needs to stick by this show. They didn’t kill it the way the usually do, schedule roulette, but they really didn’t back it up much.
Absolutely. This show is gritty and has several character stories going on…it needs TIME! Please ABC, give it this time and a better lead-in, will ya??!! Please!
I love Detroit 187. It was the first show I cared about other than ones on HBO or Showtime. I hope it gets out of the Danger Zone!
Probably already mentioned but ‘Chaos’ is dead and buried.
Agree with everything except Hellcats. I’d say that’s pretty much in the danger zone, considering it was most recently put on the critical list. I don’t think it’ll return.
Jerry oconnell replacing charlie sheen would definitely make me watch. He even made me laugh on that car pool show
I seriously hope both The (non)Event & V get the boot. It would also be nice if some Hollywood Big Wig Shmuck saw the light and realized Flash Forward was the better show and resurrected the series.
FlashForward sucked. It deserved to get canceled. At least V doesn’t take itself so seriously.
I really enjoyed FlashForward, but I am not sure how they could have kept the momentum going. . . Then again, I am shocked how long Lost lasted.
As much as I despise the show and would love to see it in the Dead and Buried section, shouldn’t Celebrity Apprentice be listed under Could Go Either Way? Because if Donald Trump does decide to run for president the Equal-time rule will go into effect and every other candidate will be legally allowed just as much air time as Trump. Thats the same reason Fred Thompson left L&O, because every candidate in 2008 would be allowed to have the same amount of airtime as he would’ve had during he on-screen appearances on L&O. NBC even pulled reruns of the mothership as well as all SVU to prevent that from happening.
I think that Donald’s recent exploits might affect Celebrity Apprentice’s ratings. And his fall show with the regular people didn’t perform well.
Chicago Code really deserves a second shot. It’s a good show.
Law & Order LA isn’t bad and is certainly better than much of what’s being renewed.
It’s ridiculous that The Good Wife hasn’t already been renewed.
Nikita and Happy Endings! Renew it and we’ll be gratefull.
I need Nikita and happy endings to return!!!! They are so good!!!!
I agree!
Seconded!
Nikita definitely needs to be renewed. That’s my favorite show on television right now. I think it’ll come back for a S2.
Why is Harry’s Law in the danger zone? Didn’t it average 10+ million viewers?
I believe it averaged around 9-10 million total viewers. However, it doesn’t do as well in the 18-49 demo, which is what really matters. Still, I don’t think it was doing bad enough to warrant placing it in the danger zone. I would say it could go either way. I don’t know why EW is placing it in the danger zone.
I liked The Defenders. But it was stuck in the 20s for most of its run. A few times it was ranked 28th or 29th. They should have kept it on Wednesday to build its audience instead of moving to Friday.
@ ellen: yes, Southland season 4 was announced, back in March.
Idk, I think a lot of the shows on the networks, these days, are terrible, I’m sorry to say.
I watch shows like: Justified, Southland, Sons of Anarchy,The Walking Dead, Survivor, Face Off, Boardwalk Empire, True Blood and now, Game of Thrones (which, I hope will have more action).
I’ve tried watching, a lot of the shows, mentioned the “scorecard” lists above, and I just can’t get into them. To be honest, many of the great shows on TV have already, been cancelled or ended their life cycle, a while ago.
They should cancel, Chuck, The Event,V,Human Target, Bones, Chicago Code, Parenthood, Traffic Light, Desperate Housewives, Hawaii Five-O, Off the Map, etc and bring back cancelled shows, like Firefly, Journeyman, Terriers and Damages!
I’m not sure what’s happened to network TV, but NBC, ABC, Fox and CBS have pretty much, failed to come up with new, exciting shows.
One of the big problems, is the loss of originality. Of course, you’re gonna see more cop and lawyer shows and then the spin-off shows, but even the gamble of original concepts has barely paid-off, with exceptions, like “Lost” (which, honestly, I couldn’t get into).
Fringe is a tricky one, because it’s one of the few, original, sci-fi shows out there that has interesting material, but of course, Fox doesn’t really care for and would rather concentrate on more mainstream stuff and old concepts. They should put Chicago Code and Fringe on Fx.
Damages wasn’t canceled. It is exclusively on DirecTV now. Season 4 starts this July.
…what’s with all the unnecessary commas? It makes your post very annoying to read. And basically, from what I can take away from it, you just want them to cancel anything you don’t personally watch.
I love the VOICE!!!!
I think Mr. Sunshine is an underrated gem. Lots of very funny talent and a never-ending supply of material. Unfortunately it will probably go the way of Better Off Ted. But I hope it sticks around!
