Adrianne’s so good – better this than her get stuck on a show that isn’t good. I hope somebody snatches her up like they did Matt Lauria!
Palicki was all wrong for this. But that’s not a knock on her. Kelley et al. should have known better.
Oh well better luck in 35 years
Ehh, you never know. Southland was rejected by NBC and came back on TNT. So who knows?
I like Palicki, hope she gets another good role.
I hear Palicki is one of the most in demand young actresses for tv pilots, so she will land a quality tv program shortly. Adrianne has done solid work on FNL and Loan Star.
Oh, what a relief. Adrianne Palicki’s awesome and I’d love to have her on my tv again, but I couldn’t even believe how awful this show sounded. Bummed about 17th Precinct, though! I was looking forward to a BSG reunion.
You all are a bunch of Wonder Woman haters. This will never become a project again because of cynical people like you. The comic era will fall from within. Then you can go complain about something else.
If the only way we get Wonder Woman on the screen is to have her be Wonder Woman in name only, then I’m fine with sticking to the comics. (Seriously, based on what leaked of the script, they should’ve called the project Power Girl. No one would’ve complained about that costume.)
Maybe they can remake Electro Woman and Dyna girl. What is Deidre Hall up to these days?
Oh man let Hope we don’t get a movie
YES! YES!! YES!!! We need a horrible version of WW, we’d look for the Cathy Lee Crosby version, thank you. Who cares about this David Kelly incarnation?
It would have been nice to see it David E. Kelly is pretty decent its possible he could have given it justice eventhough its a remake.
Thank you TV deities. This would have destroyed any hope for the franchise. This is why you can’t deviate too much from the source material. Had they adapted the George Perez stuff… man… that would have been a show.
Alright, fine…lets get another medical soap opera and crime scene procedural on tv ASAP!
I watched the pilot of this show at a test screening and I really liked it. There were some kinks to work out, of course, but the show and the cast were very entertaining to me.
Sad to hear about NBC passing on 17th Precinct
Yeah, that’s definitely the sadder news to me. I hope Ron Moore gets a platform…
Well with the anticipated choices NBC is making it will continue to ne #4 & declining fast. Soon it will, be a distant memory. How can they renew shows with less than 4 milllion viewers? (parenthood & chuck)
This should be an eye opener for the Warner film division! Write an epic script… get a great director… get an all star cast and lead that can fully embody the character! And most of all… make a Wonder Woman movie that will follow Chris Nolan’s Batman, and the “as yet to be seen, epic sounding” Zack Synder’s Superman.
Right On! Do any Warner Bros exes read these comments? Your words should be shoved right in front of their faces now! What’s the big deal about making this into a live action film? Hell, the story is already there!!! From the original idea by Marston, to George Perez’s reboot, to the recent animated movie. Instant story! Why do they think the storyline has to be messed with? It hasn’t been told on the big screen yet! Give us that at least! I’ve stated before, that I think setting it in the 40′s would rock! Has anyone seen the Captain America trailer (set in the 40′s?). It looks awesome!!! And another unique aspect about Wonder Woman, is that she’s immortal. The next movie, you can bring her to modern times. This is a no brainer!
It wasn’t about playing up the Greek mythology. That was fine. It was about the crappy way they were going about everything. Wrong girl, wrong costume, wrong everything.
