Hello Angels: ABC has officially ordered a new version of Charlie’s Angels to series.
Angels, which stars Minka Kelly, Annie Ilonzeh and Rachael Taylor, will land a spot on the network’s schedule next season (likely in the fall, and probably a choice time slot).

HOORAY! Thanks ABC for greenlightning Charlie’s Angels to series. Still a very happy man. Hoping it will land on Thursdays at 8 p.m. which will have a great lineup with Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice.

Rachael is incredibly gorgeous. I love her. She’s really beautiful and a really sweet girl. Australian perfection doesn’t get much purer than her.
Instead of including three randomly chosen actresses whose names that they picked out of a hat, they should have cast three of the below young actresses who would have guaranteed success for the new television series:
Mischa Barton, Rachel Bilson, Sophia Bush, Miley Cyrus, Kat Dennings, Hilary Duff, Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Ellen Page, Taylor Momsen, Emma Roberts, Jessica Szohr, Evan Rachel Wood
They made a poor choice with the actor cast as Bosley as well. One of the following actors would have been better:
Ben Stiller, Adam Sandler, Will Ferrell, Ricky Gervais, Simon Pegg, Eddie Izzard, Rowan Atkinson, Owen Wilson, Jack Black, Rob Schneider, Jeremy Piven, Mike Myers, Jim Carrey, William Shatner, Steve Martin, Alec Baldwin, Tim Allen, Chevy Chase, John Goodman, Billy Connolly, Danny DeVito, Robin Williams, Steve Coogan.

a joke… or just a REALLY big fan of the CW… and A-list celebrities! I bet a show starring Ben Stiller, Adam Sandler, Will Ferrell, Ricky Gervais, Owen Wilson, and Jack Black would do great ratings – too bad it would cost, what? like $65 million an episode? And by the way, if I had to pick which one of these names is not like the others, Rob Schneider wouldn’t be a tough choice…

i agree with jj and mweyer, carson i generally dont insult people, but carson ur a moron, ur choices are horrible beyond belief both for the angels (say for jessica and sophia) and bosley are just asinine. miley cyrus what hell . i mean seriously steve coogan, what teh hell are you on. the original was campy true, but ur choices are horrible. especialy since, the movie version is what the studios are looking for, an casting for. i cant see nay of the actress you listed as action, adventure, mma girls. and bosley is supposed to be a young protector of the girls none of the guys could realy protect them
Rachael Taylor doesn’t have a good figure anymore and is a bad example to women around the country. She has lost so much weight and is too skinny now. Why did she do it? She was perfect before. Please put 10 pounds back on. She looks wasted. She should have a healthy model figure that boasts an ample cleavage, fuller legs and a fuller backside.
I might think she is too thin, but really? Fuller legs, fuller backside, and ample cleavage?? Just wow. Her acting ability is far more important to me than her looks.
This will be the next show to get the axe before it gets off the ground.
Actually, I read the dailys are awesome and the current reviews of it are kick butt! It’s suppose to be a really really good show. I’m looking forward to it. I’m looking forward to cameos by the original Angels: Jackson, Smith, Ladd, Hack, and Roberts! RIP Farrah!

FYI, Farrah did not “come from nowhere” when she appeared on original “CA”. She was rising in popularity and fans were eager to see her in a show. She was in TV ads, gossip mags with Lee, and guested on many TV shows. Not unknown.
Actually, Kate Jackson had a cult following from Dark Shadows and The Rookies before becoming an Angel on Charlie’s Angels too. I think Jaclyn Smith, Cheryl Ladd, and Tonya Roberts were the only relatively unknowns. However, Shelley Hack was known as a super model for a certain Charlie Perfume around the world b4 Angel duty and this help her cinch the job to replace Jackson in ’79!
Who is bosley though? The angels are looking good so this looks like a big hit in the making. I know that Derek Jeter dates Minka, Annie is on GH, and I don’t know much about the other one but thats okay. I’m hoping they have the same chemistry as the original 3 angels.
I’m really excited for this. I like all 3 girls and I don’t doubt that Ramon will do well with Bosley. I just hope ABC (and viewers) give it a chance.
Looking forward to seing Annie Ilonzeh gonna miss her on General Hospital though.

Charlie’s Angels…let this poor dead dog of a series die already. Those guys at disney making these decisions on their programming should stick to amusement parks. ABC has rapidly gone downhill ever since.
To the doubters, how about watch it before make judgements. It may be good, it maybe bad. The originals series wasn’t like MASH or anything, it fun and campy. The movies was fun and adventurous, maybe this one be fun, campy, and adventurous.
Why?
The original was watched by 45-yr-old men who didnt follow the plot, just stared with glazed eyes at Farrah & Jaclyn running in skimpy shirts while not wearing bras — it was the original t&a TV. Network types made no apologies for it either. Why is it being elevated at all? In the 70s I dont know of any girls who looked up to the actresses on the show; they were too grossed out by their dads. I guess thats the good old days.
@Yancy, which is why I will never understand why people act like the original series is so untouchable. It’s freaking Charlie’s Angels, not The Godfather. I wish the girls success.
