PHOTOS: ABC's 'Charlie's Angels' in action

ABC gave us a few new looks at Charlie’s Angels this morning (along with rather gorgeous pics of Pan Am starring Christina Ricci) after announcing its fall schedule.

Here’s your first look at Ramon Rodriguez as Bosley, in addition to Annie Ilonzeh, Minka Kelly and Rachael Taylor (the show’s tagline: ‘They’re Angels, Not Saints”). Also, see the first video clip from Angels and ABC’s other new shows here.

Still looks like Models Inc to me…

    • harry

      indeed!!!

    • Daily

      LOVED Models Inc.

      • Michael Sacal

It also reminds me of She-Spies.

      • tom

monochromatic outfits to go with the plot

  • andy a

It’s interesting how they hold their hands together to make guns. Hopefully this show won’t be indicative of the photo: “Three pretty ladies pretending to have firepower, but not really being able to shoot with their hands.” The original photo had the Angels praying. I like that better. When I was a kid, we all prayed we could have one of them as our Angel.

    • Kiki

In that last pic, I can almost hear Tyra Banks in the back screaming: Fierce! Work it! Fierce! It’s laughable, really. Are we supposed to believe they’re badass?

    • Marie

Drew Barrymore is one of the producers of the show. If she’s someone with pull within the show, you can bet the Angels won’t be using any kind of guns. The villains perhaps, but not the Angels.

  • Jessi Smith

What are they doing in that middle pic? Dancing a jig?

  • cate

NOT a fan of the monochromatic outfits.

  • ugh

    jumpsuits go away!

    • UGH

      Hey, a mini-me!
I’d rather see a Fox Force Five show with Uma Thurman.

  • Ronnie1

I loved Minka Kelly in “Friday Night Lights” and “Parenthood”. This series looks like a step backward for her…

    • Kiki

Oh, Jesus. I can’t believe there’s still people in the world who think Minka Kelly can act. The show deserved a better casting – all 3 of them.

      • Captain

Oh Jesus, I can’t believe there are people in this world who can’t accept that their opinion is just that. Just because you don’t like her, doesn’t mean that the world should agree with you. People are allowed to have their own opinions. I love Minka and think she’s a fantastic actress and I have every right to. Go troll some other board.

    • Puhlease

Cancelled within 6 episodes. C’mon ABC come up with something fresh!

  • jake

This could be a really good show if they can do it right…but not sure…I will have to see it first.

    • Captain

Judging from the clip, I think it will be really good. Last season saw two successful reboots (Hawaii 5-0 and Nikita) if CA resembles them (taking the basic feel of the original and putting a unique/modern spin on it) I think it will be a hit.

  • kremzeek!

never cared for any incarnation of the show, but i wonder who will voice charlie?

    • Michael Sacal

      Robert Wagner

  • Skiking226

Good grief, Can’t hold a candle to Kate, Farrah, & Jaclyn.

    • heylove

I agree w/you totally….this shot makes Charlies Angels look like a joke….they do NOT look classy @ all

  • rusty310

    oh no… don’t do it!!
loved the original Charlie’s Angels. don’t even like the way those three stand together!

  • Abi

Instead of including three randomly chosen actresses whose names that they picked out of a hat, they should have cast three of the below young actresses who would have guaranteed success for the new television series:
Mischa Barton, Rachel Bilson, Sophia Bush, Miley Cyrus, Kat Dennings, Hilary Duff, Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Ellen Page, Taylor Momsen, Emma Roberts, Jessica Szohr, Evan Rachel Wood
They made a poor choice with the actor cast as Bosley as well. One of the following actors would have been better:
Ben Stiller, Adam Sandler, Will Ferrell, Ricky Gervais, Simon Pegg, Eddie Izzard, Rowan Atkinson, Owen Wilson, Jack Black, Rob Schneider, Jeremy Piven, Mike Myers, Jim Carrey, William Shatner, Steve Martin, Alec Baldwin, Tim Allen, Chevy Chase, John Goodman, Billy Connolly, Danny DeVito, Robin Williams, Steve Coogan.

    • casting couch

Oh in other words, the same old actresses and actors who are in EVERYTHING including TV shows RIGHT NOW. I guess that’s why you’re not a casting agent, Abi.

    • Michael Sacal

Why do you want comedians as Bosley? Am I missing something? Is this a parody of a spy show or serious?

      • Jenna

The actors who played Bosley in the Charlie’s Angels movies were both comedians – Bill Murray and Bernie Mac.

      • Michael Sacal

Was the actor in the TV show a comedian? I think I read that this TV show was going to be more serious than the movies.

      • Simon Jester

Yeah, the actors in the movies were comedians… BECAUSE THE MOVIES WERE TONGUE-IN-CHEEK! The original Bosley was actor David Doyle.

    • elr

I don’t like that they got such a young actor to play Bosley. He was a father figure to the girls.

  • Jack Easton

Rachael is incredibly gorgeous. I love her. She’s really beautiful and a really sweet girl. Australian perfection doesn’t get much purer than her.

  • Marcelina

Rachael Taylor doesn’t have a good figure anymore and is a bad example to women around the country. She has lost so much weight and is too skinny now. Why did she do it? She was perfect before. Please put 10 pounds back on. She looks wasted. She should have a healthy model figure that boasts an ample cleavage, fuller legs and a fuller backside.

    • casting couch

Well as much as I like a curvy girl with big tits and ass, the chick has to actually fight and do stunts as an Angel. It would be different if she just stood around in a tight dress like Christina Hendricks in MadMen.

  • Normalman

Their dresses look like they were made from someone’s curtains.

  • Smallville

Isnt this going up against TVD on thursdays?
