Last week’s episode of Bones had us wondering what Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) did under the covers in his bed. (He just held her after the loss of Mr. Nigel-Murray, right?) Tonight’s season finale (Fox, 9 p.m. ET) sends them undercover in a bowling alley, and we know what they’re doing: posing as a couple to solve a murder. Watch them in action in our exclusive clip below. Previewing the season finale for EW, Deschanel poked fun at her look: ”I’m kinda like the missing member of Quiet Riot or Twisted Sister,” she laughed. “That’s the crazy thing about Bones: It’s like, ‘We’re gonna go undercover!’ and we’re the most conspicuous people in the bowling alley.” Mullet jokes aside, she also gave us a serious piece of advice for the show’s ‘shippers: “People need to watch to the very end of the episode because things are revealed and something changes their relationship forever,” she teased. Is tonight the night they finally become a couple, or are our minds just in the gutter?

The Fox website has it listed as coming back in the fall, then break in the middle of the season for The Finder, then it will be back for the rest of the season.

Bones finale aired last night, here in Canada. It was so good!!!
Yea some douche in one of the other Bones pages ruined the big twist. Thanks Canada, way to be lame (sorry I know you aren’t all like that but sheesh! It hasn’t even aired in the US yet!).

It was Okay, but there have been better episodes. Last week’s episode was more exciting.

SN: It’s a dream, isn’t it? Angela said something about it all being a dream. I suspect the last part is a dream. If it isn’t, I’m disappointed because it’s too soon for THAT leap.
I’m pretty sure we already saw the dream in the AU season 4 finale episode, and this is it…and that’s all I’m going to say.
I don’t think it’s a dream. I think that once again HH has seriously underestimated what the fans want. I’ve hung on since the Gormagon debacle of Season 3, but if this is truly the way he’s taking the characters, I’m out. They are shells of their former selves, and he’s made a mockery of what was one of the all-time great female characters. It just blows my mind how far removed they are from the greatness of Seasons 1-2. Bones has stayed too long at the fair.
i find that funny just because I didn’t fall in love with it till season 3 didn’t care much for 1 and 2
I have to agree with you, that after season 2, the writing has been very inconsistent.Almost all the characters’ behaviors change on a weekly basis, to fit a by the numbers script. I continue to watch, but not buy the dvds, because the Boothe character has been the most consistent and compelling on the show.
I completely agree! I think this season by far has taken Brennan totally out of context! they make her seem like this incredibly ‘stupid’ with common sense genius, when she has never been this bad before. And the jump to the baby was faaarrr too soon! I’m a bit disappointed.
No offense but I think your absolutely wrong on that one. Seasons 1 & 2 gave us a great base for characters who were trying new things and going in new directions,. Together the characters helped one and other evolve as individuals and grow as people as often happens in real life. I think throwing in a sudden pregnancy into the BB relationship is the best thing they could of done to keep they’re relationship interesting, instead of going through the normal steps and veiwers losing interest now they have to embark on this life changing journey together while trying to navigate through their major personality differances, and it gives them a perfect excuse to throw the finder on when ED really does go on maternity leave, so could booth and bones. I do wish though after six years we would of got more that some smiles I know ED is really prego but a head shot would of worked fine, hopefully we get some more steamy scenes after the baby bump is really gone!
Really Silent E……someone opening up their heart is a beautiful thing. She is still going to be intelligent and too honest. I love all seasons of Bones.

What’s with dreams and or hallucinations in Bones and House. Can’t the writers come clean and give a real season finale for a change. Please learn from Castle, there is another great show where they respect their fans.

well when Angela asked Bones got this kind of school girl smile on her face then Hodgins walked and ruined the moment but I love how Angela reacted to it. I think she expressed how everyone feels about it.
