I have to get used to watching it on this side because I will only be able to watch in on my ipod!! damn Starz for not being connected to my premium movie channel service (I swear it has been in other places). I have a feeling I will enjoy, laugh and jump at every episode, but will end them all with, sigh, I miss Ianto. Where is Gwen’s husband?

    • Matt

Per the Starz! website, Kai Owen is listed among the cast. So he’ll be there.

    • Anya

he was the guy holding the shotgun when the CIA came to the door. Trust me, I rewinded it a couple of times just to make sure.

      • AT

He’s actually in there a few times, as well as a quick shot of Gwen with their baby.

      • jul

        Baby was SUPER CUTE.

  • CarrieMae

To bad its on Starz. I’ll have to wait until it comes out on DVD to see it.

wouldn’t be surprised if each episode’s on netflix the day after they air… that’s what starz did w/ both seasons of spartacus

      • Nick

Unfortunately, they ended that practice when they premiered Camelot. Going forward, it will be on Netflix 90 days after it airs on Starz. I may actually get Starz for a couple months…we’ll see.

    • Chris

People will probably put it on youtube or some other site so you can watch it then

  • Mo

HUZZAH! Been waiting for this. Thrilled Torchwood is back.

    • Tim

And this Torchwood looks AMAZING. Let’s face it, the first 2 seasons were wildly uneven, some episodes you wanted to cry from their brilliance, others you wanted to cry for the actors stuck reading such drivel.

  • Di

    I am so freaking excited!

  • Aenaria

This…actually looks surprisingly good. I’m interested to see how they’re going to dig themselves out of the ending of Children of Earth, because that definitely broke this fangirl’s heart. And hey, bonus Bill Pullman!

  • Anya

Ok, I love Torchwood, but couldn’t bring myself to see Ianto die last season. LOVE Captain Jack and always thought Gwen was a little grating. That being said, this Gwen Cooper, her, I like! Can’t frakking wait!

  • Chris

Hmmm…..not bad. I could never get into Torchwood, but that trailer looks really promising.

  • Valley Girl

    Looks awesome…

  • Bobby’s Robot

Torchwood without Ianto somehow doesn’t excite me as much, but I’ll probably catch it on NetFlix

  • chocolateislove

The presence of Captain Jack Harkness only makes this better. I loved him on Doctor Who.

  • bluebonnetbelle

I have been waiting and waiting for this. I am much more excited and happy about this than the “American” reboot they were working on for Fox.
But someone brought up a good point…will there be any mention of the Doctor or other Dr. Who characters at all in this show?

    • Bob

Maybe, but there wasn’t tons of Dr. Who in Torchwood, anyway. It was more Torchwood in Dr. Who.

    • Bob

Its kinda doubtful. The Doctor storyline in Torchwood was concluded with the 4th season finale of Doctor Who. It would be nice, but I just don’t see it happening.

  • Darin

Wow… I cannot wait. Torchwood looks awesome.

  • Jenn

    “I’m Welsh.” Ha!

  • JLC

I’m still having problems getting past the end of Children of Earth. It was well done, but the change in one character was so profound, I don’t see how the audience can root for that character going forward. I guess we’ll see.

    • Vigs

Agreed JLC. I suspect we’re supposed to see his brief bar scene at the end of David Tennant’s DW run as a sign of his rebounding. I can only trust that Russell D will somehow handle it without erasing it!

    • Jenn

I completely agree – but at the same time, I’m glad that the series isn’t going out on that dark note.

  • Comixchick

    Well, happy birthday to me!

    • Tavis

My birthday too! Couldn’t ask for a better present.
