Charlie Sheen will not appear on final season of 'Entourage,' says creator

Charlie-Sheen

Despite earlier attempts to get Charlie Sheen to appear on the final season of Entourage, which kicks off July 24, the embattled former Two and a Half Men star will not be on hand for the show’s swan song, creator Doug Ellin tells EW.

“I never heard back. Looks like it will not be happening,” Ellin says, lamenting the possibilities. “I could have come up with some good stuff. I didn’t really plan anything, but I would have.”

Earlier this month, Ellin had expressed interest in having Sheen on the show, but the offer has officially expired, as Ellin was penning the final script when EW caught up with him yesterday.

The show is currently half way through filming the eighth and final season of the series, which will feature appearances by guest stars like The Big Bang Theory’s Johnny Galecki and Andrew Dice Clay.

johnny drama + sheen = winning

    • Greg

Charlie Sheen + Bob Saget = Comedy Gold! Charlie Sheen should join the cast of whatever show is going head to head with 2.5 Men…that battle would be epic!

  • dm

    Why would anyone want him?

    • Guess what

because he is talented, creative and you like it or not has lot’s of fans.

  • If Charlie Sheen is so great…

…let him create his OWN show and sell it to TV and then he can be his OWN boss. Problem solved.

    • Cynic by Nature

and he could be on the OWN network. Is that right? The Oprah Winfrey Network network?

    • Juliet

I agree and i would watch it but above all i would like to see come back to movies, i would freaking love to see him in a Tarantino movie or a Coen movie hey even a Lynch movie..great directors for a great actor.

      • JulieB

The only thing is he is uninsurable due to his drug use and no one will cast him without insurance. He could cause production problems, delays, lawsuits, etc. Too risky.

  • Jay

It’s a little pathetic that Entourage would want this loser to appear on the show. He has an obvious mental problem, brought on by rampant drug use, and Entourage is hoping to further exploit him. So glad that this deal did NOT go through!

    • Guess what

You are the loser, Charlie Sheen knows this business, he has some issues with addictions granted but he knows how to deal with it moreover he is talented..don’t believe all the medias will tell you, you have maybe more an “obvious” mental problem than he has..

      • RogerFederer

        @ Guess What.
…he has some issues with addictions but knows how to deal with it…
        Are you insane?

      • Mr. Furley

Your’e right- he sure knows how to deal with show business! So far he’s been fired, can’t get his old or ANY job back, and flopped on his tour.
        (& let’s not forget he’s also lost his kids & a Goddess.)
        Winning?!?!?!?!?!?! 8(

    • adriane

Who are we to tell Charlie Sheen or anybody else for that matter, how to handle his problems. His problems are his concern, not your or anybody elses.

  • kate middleton

Entourage jumped the shark so long ago, I am not surprised they tried to get him. And I actually think Charlie would have been a good fit for that show because he could have played himself. Oh well!

  • Brett

Andrew Dice Clay? Boy, they’re really reaching in the final season, aren’t they?

    • JaySin420

Haha, yea I guess Carrot Top was busy.

      • kate middleton

        LOL.

  • lorr

everyone has made mistakes in there life he just needs to make it right just hope he can

  • lorr

i dont think the show two and one-half men will ever be the same without him unfortunately love that show

  • Heidi

Love “Entourage” & Sheen would have been great in it!!!! Unfortunate, that randam viewers of “Two & a Half Men” & those who have never seen him in the series or films ‘seem’ to dislike him for his ‘personal’ life which doesn’t effect theirs, as you don’t know him personally….. Me, I don’t care about his personal life, I just enjoy him as an actor…..

    • janis joplin

      Totally agree with you Heidi.
Some people and celeb obsessed medias need someone to hate (dare i say “love to hate”)in order to get away from their empty, useless, pathetic lives (bitter people) or to make big money (medias)..
But whatever Charlie Sheen doesn’t care and more power to him, he also has his talent and his many fans who don’t judge any of his moves but love his playful persona and above all his talent as an actor.

  • Terry

I would love to see Charlie Sheen in a drama either movies or a quality series. He is an amazing guy and actor. I have been a fan forever.

  • PTINDY

    what

  • SG

He looks awful. You’d need expensive CGI just tl make him look decent!

  • PTINDY

EW Andrew Dice Clay is Killer
    H D D T B i S M C

  • JulieB

I don’t know why he turned it down. Everyone’s right, he could have played himself and make a little cash. Looks like he’s going to be broke before long

  • Yeah

I didn’t think Entourage could possibly choose a bigger d-bag until I saw Clay’s name.
