FX buys rights to 'The Hangover Part II'

What network is best suited to buy the commercial TV premiere rights to The Hangover Part II?

If you said Spike TV, you’re wrong. If you said ABC Family, you’re really super wrong.

FX has just closed a deal for the rights to the hit movie after it airs on HBO and such, which seems about right, for a late 2013 or early 2014 premiere. The Hangover Part II banked a record week at the box office this weekend despite pretty dreadful reviews.

    FX has a solid history of hilariously re-editing R-rated movies. (Watch “Die Hard with a Vengeance” if you don’t believe me.) Looking forward to seeing what they come up with for “The Hangover II.”
