USA has cast more guests star for its summer full of original dramas: Gavin Rossdale, the lead singer of Bush and husband of Gwen Stefani, will appear on Burn Notice.

Rossdale plays Armand, a wealthy and powerful villain with a hand in nefarious projects all over the world. Fiona (Gabrielle Anwar)
goes to him for help — but he’ll only provide assistance if she helps him with a major heist job.

USA has also tapped a recurring star from NCIS, David Dayan Fisher, for a guest role on the show. The British actor, who plays Trent Kort on the CBS hit, will play a ruthless and ambitious mercenary on Burn Notice this season.

Rossdale and Fisher appear in the eighth episode of the fifth season, which premieres on June 23 (full list of summer premiere dates here).

Poor DDF, always playing the bad guy! (But he does it so well.)

  • Roger C.

Burn Notice has jumped the shark. I no longer like the show.

  • Realangst

Oooo, Roger C. has made an insider remark. How in the world has Burn Notice jumped the shark, O Wise One? Or do you make that comment every time EW posts something about Burn Notice?

  • jakalo

oh f*** me. he can’t sing and certainly can’t act. at least it’s just a basic cable show that most people don’t know about anyway. Cannot stand him at all. I remember in the 1990′s everyone thought he was so hot. I always thought he was below average looks wise and his band sucked almost as hard as No Doubt

    • amanda

wow. he really pooped in your Wheaties, huh?

    • JAM

youre right, it’s only the #1 rated Cable drama and no one watches it. Just like no one watches your show. oops, you don;’t have a show, or a friend, so go back to your moms basement and troll somewhere else. here’s a friggin hug for your bitter desoltae troll soul you friendless bastard.

    • JAM

Oh, i forgot to throw a “wahhh” in there for jakalo too.

Looking forward to seeing Gavin Rossdale’s guest appearance-it sounds like a cool role and he did a great job guesting on ”Criminal Minds” a while back.

    Talk about a has-been…

  • Jenn

Love Burn Notice but had higher hopes for this role than stunt casting.
@ Roger C and Realangst – how exactly does a show about spies, espionage and blowing things up jump the shark? By filming an hour long special where all the main characters do their grocery shopping and clean out their storm drains?

  • Dawn

He should of guest starred on White Collar, then he and Matt Bomer could of seen who’s closet was bigger.

  • deedeedragons

LOL! Dawn. Shouldn’t laugh, bad Deedee.

  • Court

Ooh, now I have to start watching Burn Notice.

  • JAM

Is Garret Dillahunt coming back as Simon at all? just curious

  • B

I love this show so much! I cannot wait!
