On The Big Bang Theory, Jim Parsons plays someone who would like to believe that he’s ahead of his time. Now on iCarly, he’ll play someone who claims that he actually is. EW has learned that the Emmy-winning actor will guest star on Miranda Cosgrove’s hit Nickelodeon sitcom as Caleb, a psychiatric patient who thinks that he hails from the future. He winds up befriending Carly and Co. when they visit the ward. Parsons, who is currently appearing on Broadway in The Normal Heart, shoots his guest spot today; the episode will air later this year as part of the show’s fourth season. Jane Lynch and Jack Black have also popped up in season 4, which is averaging 6.4 million viewers per episode.

Mama does love the meat
The first two seasons of iCarly were pure gold, but it has been going downhill since then. The show is worth watching for Sam and Spencer (Jerry Trainor should really go into movies). Hopefully Parsons will make it funny again.
I disagree, I think the most recent season was the funniest yet, especially the Spencer “prank” episode.
Troll , troll troll, lol you gotta love these imbeciles! icarly rocks
Seriously?
I think that 3rd and 4th season are the ABSOLUTE best of iCarly…
and I know it will get better.
thank goodness for the iMute app I download the other day
I agree, the episodes aren’t as funny because the kids are getting older. Also, don’t you miss the Gibby who had to visit the therapist and liked dancing without his shirt. Gosh, it isn’t as good anymore.
As if. Season 1 wasn’t all that funny, Season 2 and 3 were pure gold, amd Season 4 is all right. Now that there’s a plot twist in the show (Sam and Freddie) it’s just going to get better and better. Unless, of course, if you’re a die-hard Creddie (Carly+Freddie) shipper who hates Seddie (Sam+Freddie) with a passion.
I am 41 years old with 2 boys and all of us love, love, love iCarly, even my husband. When a preview for a new episode comes on, he’s the first to say, “Are we recording that?”
This show is so much fun. Will be awesome to see Sheldon on iCarly.
Katyna … you don’t want to know the REAL reason why your 41-year-old husband wants to record the show …
This is not scoop. What the people really want to know is if Sam and Freddie are going to get together. That’s scoop. And more Gibby!!
So True!!!
Jim Parsons on iCarly isn’t scoop? Really?
It’s just an opinion Lucy. It’s alright. We can all co-exist.
I’m a 25 yr old mom who just couldn’t agree with you more!!!! I’m ready for the IOMG to continue!!!! Oh yeah, and so are my kids Lol!
Amen!
What a scoop!
I love these show and yeah it have issue but so did ALL THAT
Bazzinga I want to see Parsons sharing screen time with Jerry Trainor. That will be comedy gold.
I was hoping he was going to play Socko. I just want him to finally appear on the show.
This is a good show. This show is better than a lot of shows on t.v. now.I’m 32 years old and I watch it whenever its on.
iCarly is very enjoyable. They all seem to be having such a great time taping the show. Jerry Trainor and Noah Munck are hilarious. My daughter can’t wait for the iCarly/Victorious show this weekend.
I cannot believe they wasted time and a kids’ show like iCarly, and touted a guest star to save the show’s dying days.
i also can’t believe they didn’t mention ANYTHING about Sam/Freddie… it really was cute when she just kissed him and I can’t believe that we not only have to wait, but we won’t find out on the iCarly/Victorious crossover about it!
The crossover event was filmed BEFORE iOMG, what do you expect them to do, travel back in time and change the plot for you?
Dying day? ICarly is the highest rated show on cable. Look it up.
It’s so much better then my show.
….and mine.
and ESPECIALLY mine.
go back to your stripper pole
Now, that’s what I want to watch on iCarly: comedy and good one.
So excited for this!
me encantan ellos 2 la verdad seria lo mejor verlos juntos ,,aunk sea en un capitulo,me encanta jim
I can’t wait to see i party with victorious. it’s gonna be great
Will someone please stop attacking Jim Parsons with make up? He looks genuinely frightening.
