Have to admit that those ratings are good for a daytime talk show. Now will she just go away once and for all?!
The Onion had Oprah’s commentary on her show the other day.
I think oprah’s last show is the highest rated syndicated broadcast of the 20th century. Oprah ia amazing, even after 25 years.
I meant 21st century. Oprah is amazing
No offense, but it’s not like she died, or is even particularly old. It’s just the end of one particular show (though I’ll admit an iconic one). She will be back, in one form or another.
Good for her she went out strong. After all, she has had her ass kicked all season by Judge Judy as the Queen of Day Time.
Judge judy not a talk show. Oprah remained the number one talk show for 25 years and raked in hundred times more money and influence as judy
Oprah is so annoying.
As one of those who watched the final episode, I can feel pretty comfortable saying that means that 16.39 million people were bored out of their minds…
So you as one person are equal to 10,000 viewers? Impressive!
Who gives a rats ass? She has got to be one of the most over exposed people on this planet. Pathetic people follow her like she’s god. That shows you how ignorant americans really are
I think its insensitive to call Oprah annoying or overexposed. Most people watched the final episode for what it was ‘The Final Episode’. Oprah was the gold standard in the talk show dynasty and a one woman empire. She deserved the viewers. And yes, you will lose ratings when your last years on your show are about interior decorating. But then again when you’ve had every celebrity and topic covered on your show. Its bound to get uncreative. The final episode was somewhat of a wakeup call for all those people watching her show to stop idolizing her and get of their ass.
Oprah did lose ratings but she remained the number one talk show in america
I wished 16million people who watched it would say good bye
Judge Judy is NOT a talk show, it’s a Judge show duh. Also, the article tells you that Oprah has been ranked #1 TALK SHOW for 25 years straight. Thus, The Oprah Show beats/beat ALL talk show in ratings for 25 years!
