We won’t get The Walking Dead back for another few months — all AMC is saying for now is that it’s premiering in the fall — but here’s a photo from the new season!
The second season includes 13 episodes and is currently in production in Atlanta. AMC released this statement from Executive Producer/Writer/Director Frank Darabont: “At this moment, I’m standing on a stretch of post-apocalypse interstate in Georgia, littered with abandoned cars and blessing my good luck to be reunited with our amazing cast, and our fantastic directors and crew. Across the board, there are none better. It’s great to be shooting again. I think we’ve embarked on a great season.”
Ah! I want his show back so bad! “Sometime in the fall” is not good enough AMC!
Really? A “first look”? This is basically nothing! Doesn’t even include any of the cast! Lame.

i just watched the 1st episode in Amazon and loved it! Will gt the rest in Nexflix next. Was hoping for the new season badly, so sad will got to wait 4 more months!
One reason the end of summer won’t be so tough to swallow, it has been too long since the first season aired, but I have a feeling it will be worth it.
i love this show so much, that even this tiny, lame teaser gets me excited. cant wait to spend my sunday nights with these guys in the fall.
Feels like yesterday I was watching the season finale.
All I want to see this season is “The Governor”. Anybody who has read the comics knows what I mean. And to those who haven’t, get ready to see one of the greatest villains in history.
Impossible. They just can not put the governor on TV…for many reasons.
I believe I remember reading an interview where they said they wouldn’t be getting to the Governor storyline until Season 3. I don’t have a link or anything, but I seem to recall this. Could be totally wrong, of course, but I just don’t want you to get your hopes up too much.

I think they are going to focus on Herschel this season and the search for better shelter, probably ending with the prison and Michonne in the last episode of season 2.
I hope they dont go that route. I would hate to see Ricks hand cut off. Besides I think it would take years for society to degenerate to the point where people are entertained by what the governer calls entertainment. I would rather see them trying to make it to the Army base they were talking about before the ended up at the CDC.
wow wha happen jesse went sniagat walt and he dont even know that walt could had save his lovei keep wondering if every1 forgot that walt practically killed jesses girl back in season 2 he could save her but didnt and now jesse hates walter but for other reasons episode 11 turned into a scary movie in the end damncnt wait to watch it tonightand nxt sunday is the finale omg i think its gonna have a crazy ending someone definetly dying
Oooooooh. I am such a wimp that I can barely handle this show, but I LOVE it. I wish it were coming back over the summer though, because I watch so many things come fall…it gets exhausting trying to keep up with all my favorite shows and I can hardly ever try new ones. The only reason I started watching The Walking Dead was because my schedule had an opening where “Lost” used to be. (And it looked awesome.)
I love this show, but they need to get rid of that love triangle, and maybe kill of Shane (he died in the books!).

If they stick relatively close to the timeline of the books, we’ll spend most of this season on the road and at the farm. I’m guessing the season 2 finale will be them arriving at the prison.
It’s always the good shows that are cancelled or delayed. This show is no exception. Sure, pollute the television with the crap Jersey Shores, or other stupid reality shows. But deny something this good, is just plain stupid.
This was never delayed. Everyone involved always said it would be returning in the fall.
Last year they said it would be returning in October, like the first season.
It’s funny, I’ve been sick of the whole vampire thing almost since it got started but zombies are something I never seem to tire of, love this show!
I don’t get into zombie movies but when I saw the previews for the season 1 premiere on AMC I thought it looked intriguing. And since it starred the cute guy from Love Actually I really couldn’t resist. Wow the entire 1st season was awesome and I can’t wait for season 2!
I was in the Marine Corp, for four years, back in 1967, 1968, I was in Viet Nam, with a unit that was called “The Walking Dead”, I thought this was about us, but I was wrong, sooooooo wrong.
