Can Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine make beautiful music together? We’ll find out next week, when a new Maroon 5 song called “Moves Like Jagger” hits iTunes. The single features vocals from Aguilera as well as Levine, the band’s front man. According to the Associated Press, both stars will perform the song on next week’s episode of The Voice, which airs June 21. The studio version of “Moves Like Jagger” will then be available to purchase online after the show.

A lot of people think it’s off the Maroon 5 album that came out in September of last year. But I like that Adam Levine and his band recorded this new song with Christina.

With a title like “Nasty” you might think it’s “Dirrty, Pt 2″, but it’s kind of cute and bouncy.

Um…shouldn’t you be ‘helping’ the contestants be the ones recording??? Both Levine and Aguilera wrote an essay for EW when the magazine did an article on The Voice….and they both went on & on about helping to realize people’s dreams. Unfortunately, they have forgotten that goal. It’s all about resurrecting their own careers. Now, I know this but to have it so blantantly out there is not right. I also fault Jennifer Lopez…all that mumbo jumbo about finding talent…meanwhile her music career has re-ignited again and she’s up on the Idol stage shaking her thing. You gotta love show business…I’ll help you but I’m really helping myself even MORE.
I don’t really think that Adam’s career needs to be revived. Christina’s, maybe. Besides, this is done on Idol all of the time.
They didn’t become the patron saints of unsigned talent dude, that’s what the entire recording industry is for. I guess you think that because they’re coaches on the show they’re not allowed to make any music themselves (you know, the job they’re actually known for and highly successful at)? I really don’t get it…
My impression has been that Adam and her act like brother and sister and that Blake actually doesn’t really like her and poor Cee Lo is out of the social loop (though he and Adam seem to get along and I think probably have a fine professional type relationship)
Based on the undertone of Blake’s wifey Miranda’s tweets to Chrisitna, I wouldn’t be suprised if he didn’t much care for her… :/
I thought this was all about new singers but again as said here before, milk the cash cow from the already famous singers sad sad always about money at the cost of young talent.
