Surprisingly, the first photo embedded after the jump is not a screengrab of a nightmare experienced by my youngster self after having seen Jurassic Park in theaters. But it’s pretty unavoidable that teasers for the upcoming Fox series Terra Nova would beg comparisons to the 1993 dinosaur flick — after all, Jurassic director Steven Spielberg serves as executive producer of the much-anticipated series, which follows a family sent back in time 85 million years in an attempt to restart human history. See two more teaser posters for the Jason O’Mara- and Stephen Lang-starring series — premiering Sept. 26 — after the jump as well. One features a dinosaur who may or may not be ready to sneeze on you, and the other stars a bug that may or may not be colonizing in my apartment right now.

Interesting. The trailers look too much like something out of the 2nd Jurassic Park movie…but that’s the editors’ fault….I hope. Will give it a look once it airs, hoping for the best.
I’m sensing an epic fail on par with SeaQuest, Earth-2 and Space:Above and Beyond.
If you’re not familiar with any of those shows, there’s a reason for that…
Seaquest was on for like three seasons. I wouldn’t call that an epic fail.
I would take a single episode of any of the three shows above over most of what Fox airs nowadays. Definitely looking forward to Terra Nova!

The posters are WAY cooler than the lame trailers on television, that do indeed, rip off Jurassic Park.
In the first poster, the dinosaur looks like it’s saying, “I say, old chap, where are you running off to now?” Or maybe, “Spare some change?”
