Howling for more of MTV’s Teen Wolf? The network is launching six online exclusive shorts starring the Wolfman himself, Tyler Posey and his real-life father.

The series is titled Search for a Cure and they’re written and directed by the show’s creator, Jeff Davis. Each episode follows Scott (Posey) and his best friend Stiles (Dylan O’Brien). The shorts will also introduce a new character, Dr. Fenris, who’s played by Posey’s dad (actor John Posey, who has a long TV career including recent guest spots in Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior). John Posey will also appear in the actual MTV series later this season.

The first two chapters, produced by MEC and Generate Studios, debut today, with episodes 3-6 premiering weekly on Mondays starting July 4. AT&T has signed on to sponsor the project, with episodes first debuting on AT&T’s Facebook page for 24 hours before spreading to ATT’s U-verse outlets and And hey, here’s the first episode:

I must say, I’ve been really impressed with this series so far (which of course means it’ll get cancelled after the first season).

I’m surprised I enjoy it also. Before this show, I never watched anything on MTV.

@ david. I 100% agree. It is doing well. i love it and am just intrigued by everything on the show. I wish stiles would get an Emmy!! It’s well writen and well done.

The actor who plays Stiles is really good. I never thought he would become my favorite character. I’d like to see how he would handle some really dramatic material. Let’s hope the writers have a good storyline for him down the line.

    I like the show, too.

Also, best supernatural-series-oblivious mom since Joyce Summers, and best aunt since…Kate it’s awesome, that’s all.

This is so cool! Just a heads up I think you need to “like” the AT&T page to see the videos. Do it though the 2nd ep is already posted

I’m going to secretly try to watch the episodes at work. P.S. my friend just got the new Samsung Infuse and LOVES it!

This show is awesome! Loved Stiles & Lydia’s drug induced scene from last night.

I am totally hooked on the series and am overcome with nostalgia for high school! It’s a hit and am looking forward to the web series. Stiles is a great sidekick, reminds me of Seth Cohen. Not a bad actor either.

    • Serena

He is like Seth from the OC, isn’t he? Lol! I miss that show. But I really hope Stiles gets more to do than just being the “sidekick.”

      • Liz V

I also hope his career doesn’t die here!

Scott and Derek are soooo hot! When Derek was working out in the last episode I caught myself drooling! What a fine looking man ;o)

I finally came clean at work about my guilty pleasure love for this show, only to find out everyone else watches it too. At least we can chat about it, though I do feel silly caring about these kids so much.

  • John

I loved it and please make an unrated uncut blueray version that shows sexyer scenes not shown on tv cause we want more skin than tv allows.
