Matt Lauer’s got a new TV gig lined up, but you won’t be able to catch this one over breakfast. USA confirms to EW that the Today show host will be playing himself on an upcoming episode of Royal Pains.
On the show, Evan will reportedly approach a vacationing Lauer in hopes of scoring HankMed a profile on the popular morning show. The network says Lauer filmed his scenes yesterday.
The episode, airing in August, will also feature guest appearances from Kyle Howard and Tony Hale.

I just discovered this show, good cast, entertaining and sometimes pretty funny.
this show was ok, it is starting to grate on me. a bit melodramatic and contrived at this point. Hank can do anything. We are so concerned about how divya feels. And what does evan do for his pay?
