Alfred Molina is bouncing back from his run on an NBC crime show — into an NBC legal drama.

The acclaimed veteran actor and former Law & Order: Los Angeles star has been cast in a multi-episode arc in the second season of Harry’s Law.

Molina will play ‪Eric Sanders, a man in his mid-late fifties who has been accused of murdering his wife. While admitting he was unhappy in his marriage and had dreamt of getting rid of her, he claims he’s innocent. After spending time in jail, he has suffered from anxiety attacks and is estranged from his daughter who believes him to be guilty of murder.

Molina’s character will be introduced in the season premiere on the show’s new night, Wednesdays, starting Sept. 21 and he will appear in three episodes.

Really fine actor–who gets to work with a really fine actress (Kathy).

    • Gwen

I agree, and I look forward to seeing the two of them together. I thought Molina brought a welcome touch of gravitas to “L&O: LA” the same way that Sam Waterson did in the original series.

      • Jackie

I am so sad that L&O LA has been canc’d. I loved all the L&Os and little by little they are ending. Such great shows with equally great actors/actresses. i hope they bring another one to TV someday.

    • bsure

Sorry to break it to you, Roger, but I read a few weeks ago that Brittany’s been let go from the show (along w/the actor who played her boyfriend, forget his name).

  • Kimba

Yes, he looks like that kind of character in this show. Great casting work.

  • BUTTMUNCH

Do you say this in every comment section regarding TV shows? I read the exact same comment regarding The Office by you!

Looking forward to Molina on Harry’s Law, and to the changes in store for the second season.

  • WARQUEEN

Sorry to break it to yoy bsure; but you are only partially right. actor Aml Ameen, who played the boyfriend, was let go; Brittany on the other hand will be back all be it somewhat, she was bumped down to series-recurring status.
