I am also not happy with One Life To Live and All My Children being taken off by Froms and Disney. I have kept my frustrations to myself on this and I was really upset. ABC will lose me as a viewer and I will have nothing to do with anything Disney when OLTL goes off the air. Not everyone has a computer nor the means to transfer to a tv from computer. If you’ll notice, ABC’s programming is getting worse thruout the schedules and it could mean the loss of our local ABC stations with all the changing Frons and Disney are doing. Our local WTVD Raleigh-Durham station would have to go to another network. Why doesn’t Prospect Park put the two soaps on the USA Channel where we all can see them without the hassle? That would be the solving solution just as they have Royal Pains on the USA channel where I watch and have enjoyed that show too. Sankie

I came up with a better idea..why not just have a Soap Network, call it the Soap Dish Channel, using the first letters SDC such as USA, TNT, TBS, that runs all day and night and put all the soaps on it. Let it be it’s own network. Sounds good to me. Sankie

I have watch All My Children since the very beginning and I think its terrible that they are taking it off just so we can watch some reality show or another talk show that nobody wants to watch. We older folk like to watch the things that have grown old with us. Enough of the fake reality show. And how much are they paying the idiots on the talk shows that don’t know what they are talking about in the first place. All My Children is like family.

The soaps have become predictable, they are boring and come on how many stories can actually be written for each charecter. It’s all been done over and over who cares.I do not watch them I started watching only once a month and now once every 2 months they just don’t hold my interest.I am happy to see two of the soaps cancelled between work and workout and spending time with family I just don’t have time for the soaps not even on line.

Hello everyone, just wanted to add my 2 cents, as well I will miss AMC and One Life to Live, and yes as they (the network) stated, there are’nt enough people watching the soaps like they use to because back in the 50s 60s and 70s you had more women at home, homemakers watching tv. In comes the 80s 90s and 00s, more women are working, they are not in the home anymore, working mothers wheather they are married or not, the majority of families need a two income family. This is the main reason soap opera viewers has dropped so drastically. Oprah Winfrey was flooded with emails and what not since she has gotten her own network from fans asking her to save our beloved AMC and OLTL. Oprah declined stating that she was not willing to put those shows on her network due to the reclined ratings. I like many others thought that that was a great ideal seeing that Oprah’s network is’nt doing that well anyway. My other thought was, why not put them on at night since so many people work during the day anyway, I mean I work 9 to 5 to, so when I get home and since I have the Soapnet I catch it them. So why can’t or why won’t they put them on in the eveing “Oprah” or “Soap net”? I personelly don’t know how this online thing is going to work out anyway, plus MTV has a new show out called “Dirty Soap”, another reality show, but they are using soap stars on this show, I did not know that until I caught a glimpse of it going off and I spotted the young man who plays Rex on OLTL and real life girlfreind Gigi on the show. So anyway that’s just my 2 cents.

No more AMC and too much breaking into shows with minute to minute cop business,(that’s why we pay the cops ,to take care of these things without bothering us with it) Good bye to ABC channel!!!!
