Oversight is getting a new officer: Dillon Casey is joining The CW drama’s second season in a recurring role.
The Canadian actor plays Sean Pierce, an Army Special Ops officer assigned by Oversight to retrieve the mysterious black box containing Division’s secrets from Nikita (Maggie Q), while also keeping an eye on how Amanda (Melinda Clarke) runs Division. As he learns more about Alex’s (Lyndsy Fonseca) history, he’s distrustful of her relationship to Nikita.
Nikita season two debuts Friday, Sept. 23 on The CW, but you can get a look at Casey earlier than that in Starz’ Torchwood: Miracle Day, where he plays a love interest of Capt. Jack Harkness.
Happy he will be back on TV. Torchwood sucks!

Don’t judge an entire network based on a few crappy shows. Nikita is an excellent television program filled with incredible writing and terrific performances. Of course, I wouldn’t expect someone with your maturity to give something a chance before you form an opinion of it.
u r funny, I’ve actually watched a few episodes, and I didn’t like it. The acting is wooden, the story is pretentious and annoying. Of course, I wouldn’t expect someone with your maturity to acknowledge that someone else has another opinion about your favorite show. CW does have some good shows like Smallville and the campy ANTM, but to the people who says Torchwood sucks, I hope they at least watch previous season.
Marshall, are you serious ? I like Smallville and tolerate(d) ANTM, but you lost all credibility when you said those shows are better than Nikita, especially the second one.
haha Sorry, but the whole ‘acting is wooden’ argument actually made me laugh my ass off considering that the show is actually praised for its acting all the time. It’s critically acclaimed, has a stellar cast and brilliant storylines. It’s an excellent show. Get over yourself and stupid, lameass Torchwood.
What’s with this Torchwood vs. Nikita. They are both good shows. Nikita happens to be the most compelling new show on the CW. Even the NYTimes stated it was the best series to debut of all the 4 broadcast networks last year. Give it a chance people.
Nikita is a better show by far than Torchwood has been since the end of series 2.
