The top photo looked a little “Brokeback Mountain”.

    • Steven

      Only a lot less attractive.

      • CC

They both look a bit light in the loafers. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

      • Bill

They really don’t look like Texans do they?

      • Piper

Sure they look like Texans of the Matt Bomer variety. Gorgeous and gay.

    • Brab

That’s the first thing that came to my mind.

    • goossiiipgirl

      Only more gayer looking….

      • Will

      • Troy

And this is a problem because…?

    • Alan

Let’s hope so. Dont tease us. Although TNT being basic cable probably can’t show us enough of the action.

    • John

Wouldn’t one of them have to turn around first?

I dunno about the casting! I would have preferred if the boys stolen from Desperate Housewives were older and a lot less “pretty”. They look like kids and it’s kind of hard to take them seriously.

      • Yup

I totally agree. They look too gay, since they are so pretty. Get rugged men.

      • GLAM

LISA G TAKES SHTS AT WORK!: “I would have preferred if the boys stolen from Desperate Housewives were older and a lot less “pretty”.”

Weird. Because Patrick Duffy got almost the same response in 1978 by some TV critics.

      • Alan

Oh please. It’s DALLAS. It’s a soap opera. A remake of a sudsy, shoulder padsy, 80s soap opera.

Well I don’t know if I would have ever classified Patrick Duffy as a “pretty” man. These two new guys look like they belong on Gossip Girl, not Dallas. I would have liked to see more mature looking men.

Nothing against Jesse Metcalf, but his casting brings a cheesy factor to the show now. Fire the casting director! I want and need for this show to go well but it’s going to be hard with those two pretty girls…errr…boys.

    • Jean Guy Levesque

Whenever I see 2 cowboys together,it reminds me of BROKEBACK, ouch. Vive la Quebec!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Spoiled Breast Milk

I’m so sick of all the negative comments on here. I, for one, am thrilled that a network finally has the balls to put a gay soap opera on the air.

  • CIP

Had no idea this was on the works. So excited to see Linda Gray!

  • Vivi

I’m still surprised that Jesse Metcalfe aka Miguel from “Passions” continues to get work considering his limited acting skills.

    • J

Sometimes good looks > acting skills.

  • Torrence5

Please do something about Larry Hagman’s eyebrows – they scare the sh*t out of me. May be a reason I turn the show off.

    • Just saying

He’s JR Ewing. He can do whatever he wants.

I hate to sound petty, but I almost agree with you. Those eyebrows are gross and a huge turnoff!

  • GregR

    Who Shot JR?

    • Annie

Christopher’s birth mother and Sue Ellen’s sister Kristin.

  • Ana

Why is everyone either “young and hot-looking” or old and/or plastic looking? I don’t remember how it went the first time around but it seemed more balanced. Shouldn’t there be a generation in between these two?

    • Charlene Tilton

      Charlene Tilton!

      • CC

Who was doing the nasty with Ray Krebbs who turned out to be her uncle. EEEEEEWWW!

    • derek

Both Jesse Metcalfe and Josh Henderson are older than Patrick Duffy was when Dallas premiered in 1978.

      • ted

        and your point is?

    • GLAM

“Why is everyone either “young and hot-looking” or old and/or plastic looking?”

The cast has no one under 25 and I don’t see plastic in the faces of Larry, Linda or Patrick. The photos are obviously photo shopped as you see in the irritating colors too. Since they’ve filmed only the pilot so far there is enough room for the 40-50 years old in the series.

  • Mike

So excited….JR Ewing = one of the best TV characters ever.

    • Roseann

I agree. JR is the best. I loved the show and so did all my friends. We had a Dallas Party as we did in the old days. Anyone under 40 doesn’t get it. They are too critical.

  • Chris

They should have J.R. get shot every week, like Kenny dying on South Park. “Oh my God, they shot J.R. You bastards!”

    • amanda

      best. idea. ever.

  • Kate

I don’t understand why they are doing so much promotion if it doesn’t come out for another year.

    • Carole

because it’s going to suck. Haven’t you realized the more publicity there is about something the more it sucks?

      • gary

so if what you say is true, then that must be so true about the remake of so just watch the original(and the soundtrack too) one with kevin bacon, but I dont think it will be true about the NEW Dallas ,remember this new version show has 3 of the original lead cast members, the remake of Footloose has none of the original cast members and the soundtrack has different artist (some I never heard of,unlike the original)on it,listen to someof the some songs ,they suck especially blake sheltons version of footloose its a uptempo song ,blake sang /danced the song (watch the video) like it was a slow/midtempo song and as if he didnt/couldn’t know how to dance in other words he couldn’t…CUT LOOSE!

  • Zeke

So is this new show [then] a continuation from the old show?

  • vin

    looks good

  • Ben

I was going to probably pass on this show anyway, but now especially since TNT had to kill Men of A Certain Age just to give Dallas a slot. Victoria Principal was wise to pass on this reboot.

    • Sue1

      Couldn’t agree more, Ben.

    • GLAM

This is nonsense TNT has not even filmed the series. They have only the pilot!!! And they don’t schedule broadcast dates one year ahead. Men of Certain Age was canceled for low ratings. Happened to DALLAS too in the past.

  • IMO

    Looks Bad.

  • JazyZ

Who’s that on Bobby’s arm? That cannot be Victoria Principal. Doesn’t look even a tiny bit like her.

    • ohmy

that’s Brenda Strong, playing Bobby’s latest wife. Maybe we’ll find out what happened to Pam…

    • derek

Brenda Strong. She narrates Desperate Housewives, and occasionally appears in flashbacks to when her character, Mary Alice, was still alive. She also played a recurring character on Seinfeld, Sue Ellen Mischke, the heiress to the Oh Henry candy bar fortune, and wore a bra as a top on one memorable episode. Since Victoria Principal passed, she probably plays Bobby’s second wife.

      • tonetrek

Don’t you mean Bobby’s third wife. Bobby did marry April Stevens during the final season on CBS, but she was killed off via some oil terrorists who were lead by Susan Lucci!

  • Doug

Jordana Brewster is one of best looking women on the planet!

    • Charlene Tilton

      Excuse me, darlin’?
