The last thing you want to do in the middle of summer is to think about school. Unless, of course, that school is Greendale Community College. Then you want to think about it a lot. Let us gather for today’s lecture about the NBC comedy Community, titled “Bloopers and Blunders: Failing Is Funny.” Your instructors include but are not limited to: Donald Glover (Troy) and Danny Pudi (Abed), who sample a questionable liquid from a Troy and Abed in the Morning mug; Alison Brie (Annie) and Chevy Chase (Pierce), who show you how to beat up a beat; and Jim Rash (Dean Pelton), who demonstrates the art of a buzzy entrance.
More bloopers — along with deleted scenes, commentary tracks, and a paintball finale featurette — can be found on Community: The Complete Second Season DVD, which is being released on Sept. 6. If you prefer to laugh up close and personal with the cast, head down to Comic-Con on Saturday, when Joel McHale & Co. will appear on a panel. Watch the blooper clip below.

Hilarious! That Alison Brie is one funny lady.
Isn’t it funny how she busts a move and its the best thing in the clip, but then Chevy Chase blocks the shot by trying to be part of the fun. He is a ruiner. He is Pierce through and through.
I thought the same thing. I like Chevy, but my love for Alison Brie is never-ending.
How is he ruining the fun? He probably just didn’t realize that he was standing in front of the camera.
I know about Chevy’s past and how a lot of people in the industry have some issue with him. But as far as Community is concerned I’ve never heard any of the cast- or crew-memebers complain about him. Have you?
Awesome!
I love Community. Can’t wait for the new season to start.
I just hope it will be available for streaming over Netflix like season 1. Whenever I find myself with an extra 20 minutes I fire up another episode.
Yvette Nicole Brown is unshakeable!
Exactly this. She’s an absolute pro.
Oh that’s nice.
I love this show. It is brilliant, funny, clever and lively. So, of course, I am always fearful of NBC axing it. Don’t do it, TPTB! Show the Greendale Humans some love!
I agree. All networks axe good shows though, so if you want this to stay on the air tell your friends to watch it, and tell them to tell their friends to watch it!
POP! POP!
Ever since that episode, every time someone in my general vicinity says the word ‘pop’ I say, “POP What Magnitude? POP WHAT?!”
WHAT IS HE TRYING TO SAY, POP WHAT MAGNITUDE
I am so sorry to hear this Niko. Ang sakit naman nito sobra.. Nag gigirl talk ako nayogn sobra kilig ako sa mga stories tapos nabasa ko to.. Oh my God! sobrang nakaka depressed. Please extend my condolences to Jean.
*blows rasberries*
Uh… since when is Community streaming on Netflix?
OUT OF THE WAY CHEVY CHASE!
No kidding!
I wish they’d put out Season 2 of Better Off Ted on DVD.
YEAH!!
I hate Paintball because it turned Season 2 into a non-stopping string of parody episodes.
Believe it or not, Community is at its best when it doesn’t use that gimmick.
You speak the Turth.
You speak the false.
In case you didn’t see Ayers it’s “Turth” notice not “Truth”. Second of all I agree that it’s best when it’s believable and not over the top. If it has been parody episodes I can accept it but it first tried to come off as realistic. So it should stick to being realistic with the occasional slightly unrealistic episode such as the chicken mafia/mob episode.
It depends on the theme for me, the Dungeons and Dragons episode is probably the best they have done, I also love the KFC NASA episode but there are regular episodes that are just as funny, The Psychology of Letting Go is one of my favourites
I disagree. It all depends on that the gimmick is. Some of the episodes don’t go as well a others but I agree with Bob, the KFC Nasa ep where Pierce gets space eiskcness still cracks me up.
I think they’ve done a good enough job establishing the characters and demonstrating their growth that the so-called ‘gimmick’ episodes don’t take anything away from that.
The season 1 commentaries were classic. I can’t wait for these DVDs.
I really hope they also did commentary for each episode for season 2. I could listen to these people shoot the sh!t all day.
I am counting down to Sept. 6th!!
It’s been announced, there will be commentary on every episode.
I totally agree. I think Community and Parks & Rec have the best cast commentary!
My partner and I abtulosely love your blog and find nearly all of your post’s to be just what I’m looking for. can you offer guest writers to write content available for you? I wouldn’t mind creating a post or elaborating on some of the subjects you write in relation to here. Again, awesome web site!
