Former Will & Grace star Sean Hayes may return to TV on NBC.
NBC’s entertainment chief Robert Greenblatt just told TV critics at their summer press tour that one of his goals is to bring Hayes back in front of the camera into a new comedy.
Without specifying details, Greenblatt says he’s developing a concept with Hayes, who’s worked as a producer in recent years on shows like TV Land’s Hot in Cleveland and NBC’s upcoming Grimm.
Greenblatt also said he wants to get NBC into the primetime animation game, signing Greg Daniels (The Office, King of the Hill) to a new overall production deal to, among other things, develop animated shows.

Will definitely watch any show with Sean Hayes. Super talented and super likable. Not an easy combination to find these days.
LOVE Sean!! And hey, how about bringing back Outsourced while we’re at it??
The article makes it sound like he hasn’t been doing any acting in recent years. He’s been on Broadway and was nominated for a Tony Award.
