Well look who seems to be enjoying themselves! For season 3 of the critically acclaimed legal drama The Good Wife, CBS is turning up the heat with a new ad that plays off the drama’s chaste-sounding title. Below we have Julianna Margulies in a black negligee. And given her apparent state of mind, this shot makes us curious if there’s more going here that we cannot see.
The Good Wife returns at a new night and time, Sundays this fall at 9 p.m. on CBS starting Sept. 25. Check out the poster for yourself below:

I can’t wait for the new season, but I wonder if this promotional picture is an attempt to compete with Desperate Housewives since it is moving to Sunday?
God I hope not. TGW is intelligent and thought-provoking while DH is camptastic drivel. Do they really want to court that audience?

They are definitely trying to compete with Desperate Housewives. Doesn’t mean The Good Wife will change and turn into a campy, soapy dramedy. Just means CBS knows they put The Good Wife in a tougher timeslot and they need to attract more viewers.

Actually, I’ve tried to watch The Good Wife but its boring, dull and I really don’t want to se nearly 50 year old women trying to be sexy. This show is overrated and so is Julianna (I think thats her name). Its a snooze fest. Like most shows on that network.
