The CW is bulking up its orders of four next season. The network has picked up two more episodes of Gossip Girl and 90210, the network confirmed, plus one episode each of Supernatural and Nikita. (Nope, no more Vampire Diaries).
The reason: You know how you get frustrated with all those repeats The CW airs in midseason? Well, so does The CW. The orders bring Gossip and 90210 to 24 episodes each and Supernatural and Nikita to 23.
Cool. More “Supernatural” is always a good thing in my book. I also like “Nikita”.
You really need to bring back Supernatural….please my mother and I can’t live without them!!!!!

Glad to hear that Supernatural and Nikita got more episodes..yay! I love those shows! The Vampire Diaries should have gotten more episodes too though, its the highest rated show on the network!

Deadline is reporting that the reason TVD didn’t get more eps is because the post production costs are very high

the CW has been banned from my household since Everwood and Veronica MARS were cancelled.
That’s a shame. Veronica Mars was one of my favorite shows, but I got over it being cancelled so I didn’t have to miss out on awesome shows like Supernatural, Nikita, and The Vampire Diaries.
I cancelled both and gave 7th Heaven a 55th season, wasn’t i great at my job?
How about 24 episodes of ‘Hellcats’ during the mid-season break? Who cares if they cancelled it….Revive it….
