    Dems fear Tea Party

    • Good Luck Charlie

Oh Mayday Malone, you used to be awesome on Cheers, and now you’re on CSI?

    • Where’s the jobs?

What Dems fear is what the tea party will do to this country. Expect things to get worse for our economy because of tea party ppl.

      • ken

o get real you jackass this tv not poltical.

      • Scott A

Ken, that person was replying to someone else who brought it up. Once you bring something up, it’s fair game to respond to it. And try to learn proper spelling and grammar before you swear at others and tell them to “get real”.

    • Scott A

Anyone with a soul fears the tea party.

  • lLOyd

i will give him a look.

    • Caroline

      I liked what I saw – I try too.

  • Mma63

I’m very excited about new Season. Looks like things will be back to the good times. Great clip.

Finally, ‘CSI’ has an all-white cast. It’s about time. Progress!

    • nitemar

You know, never thought about it until you mentioned it…no gays or latinos either. Well 11 years of pettiness by CBS TBTB, I guess.

      • truth teller

Why does every freaking show have to have latino’s or blacks. They don’t even live in my area at all. And other areas are the same. I mean, i don’t care whether they are or not, makes no difference to me. I’m just amazed how every freaking thing anymore has to deal with race, or religion. Why can’t it just be show, period. I’ve worked lots of places where there were no lat’s or blacks. What the frack is the big deal about it. I don’t see a whole lot of white people on BET.

      • j

there is a gay actress but her character is not gay.

    • Mike K

So? Lots of shows have an all white cast. Its about the actor more than who race the actor is.

      • JAM

Only a WHITE MAN would say something like that. It is about representating the population of Las Vegas, which does have people of many colors. Visit it one day.

  • maggie

Looks like he’ll be good. Didn’t realize how talented he was on Cheers, but loved Becker…and look forward to this.

  • elizabeth

Looks good. I thought Langston was okay, but he was a little over the top for just starting out. i realize he had a medical degree, but still it takes time to perfect your skills. Look at all the training that Greg had to go through with Grissom. I think Danson’s character will be a good addition. Of course having Grissom make a cameo every now and then would be even better!!!

    • Mia

I agree, Elizabeth. I think the pivotal mistake they made with the Langston character was the fact they made him a newbie. When they introduced him as the professor and we first saw him interact with his students I thought he was great, he was in his element. But as a CSI he always felt… out of place to me. The fact he went from newbie to apparent super expert (not to mention climbing the CSI hierarchy pretty damn fast!) didn’t help.

I only watched occasionally during last season, but with Danson on board I will certainly give it another try. Liked the video above.

      • Cathy

I agree, it was just a bad premise. It will be interesting to see how Danson is worked into the show.

    • JAM

He was a newbe because that is the way the show was writen, but then again the Langston character had a very dark skin color. Wouldn’t set white with some of their viewers if a Black man was put in charge. And speaking of Grissom, does’t his wife ever call him or wonder if he had died in the jungle that he came to, to be with her? Did the writers ever explain why she left him to go back to her old job? Screwy show with nearly all young white people who have pointless attitudes.

  • Chelsea

I really liked this clip, I will be tuning in for the first few episodes to see how it works with Ted Danson in the mix. I’m actually looking forward to CSI, and it’s been a while since that was the case.

    • Mia

My thoughts exactly. :) I feel the same way, Chelsea.

    • KiKiD

Agree. That was a good clip. Glad Lawrence is gone. He added nothing. Ted might bring something to the table

  • Rick Hunter

Danson was the bomb in Phantoms yo!

    • DL

Affleck was the bomb in Phantoms!

  • Jeff

I thought Fishburne was OK, definitely more of a kick-ass character than Grissom. Danson’s character looks OK from this clip, I look forward to seeing him.

  • Dan Uff

Can’t wait to see the new season. Danson looks great in this roll.

  • lspacediva3

A “lighter tone”? I thought they fired Liz Vassey because they thought her character Wendy’s interaction with Hodges wasn’t serious enough for the direction they wanted to take the show — they sure backtracked on that..

  • Lynn

Wasn’t a big cheers fan, but liked him in Three men and a baby, LOVE Becker and he was really good in Damages. I might have to check out CSI again. I stopped watching after the character Grissom left.

  • rlynh

I’ve always liked Danson, and I think he’ll bring back some of the old mojo to CSI. I’ve always liked Lawrence Fishburne too, but he never seemed interested in his character.

  • Templar

Totally stoked for Danson to be on CSI. Hope he brings a bit of Becker and a little of his Gulliver to the role.

  • HRUi

Danson looks to be good! I think it will be a nice change from Ray. I plan to check it out
