Guess who's returning to 'Gossip Girl'? -- EXCLUSIVE

The season premiere of The CW’s Gossip Girl will return a familiar face to the show: Simon Miller is coming back for one episode.

Miller appeared in two previous episodes as an actor who’s famous for playing vampires. His character was caught in a love triangle between Olivia (Hilary Duff) and Dan (Penn Badgley). Since then he’s appeared on another CW hit, Vampire Diaries.

The CW just picked up two more episodes of Gossip Girl for next season, along with additional hours of three other shows (find out which here). Gossip returns Monday, Sept. 26 at 8 p.m., leading into new CW drama Hart of Dixie.

  • JOONBUGG

He played Olivia’s ( Hillary Duff ) movie co-star / “stage” boyfriend. and NO he didnt hook up with Serena …YET! lol

  • Ash

    No recollection of him whatsoever

    • Pan

      George Lockwood in the FB’s

  • BLM

I remember Serena kissing him at Chuck’s speakeasy/Halloween party. Serena was his pretend girlfriend for a little bit. He was basically a drunken a$$.

    • Nicole

Good memory! All i could remember was Nate and Dan watching some sex scene between him and Hillary Duff’s character.

    • HG

Ok, that makes sense. I remember him too. He was literally on two episodes and had like 5 minutes an episode.

  • deedeedragons

Don’t remember him at all, maybe it was that horrible time when i was struggling to breath because i had to deal with both Hillary Duff & Jessica Szohr filling up my screen with their horrible acting.

  • Courtney

Who did he play on Vampire Diaries?

  • Ms. Chanandler Bong

    I miss Carter

    • murley

when i saw the link i said to myself “please let it be carter baizen”.

The good news is that he is only around for one episode. The bad news is that he is yet another Gossip Girl guest star. When will they have non casting news. I had hoped that they would learn from the mistake of last year when they had 30 non interesting guest stars it seemed. They need to focus on the main cast. Let them interact and have stories that are clearly thought out and make sense. Why bring back the guy from the arc that barely anyone remembers? What’s next Aaron Rose? Scott? What about Chuck’s valet from 4×02?

  • Jenny

Season 3 was the worst season on Gossip Girl.

  • meh

Who was he on the Vampire Diaries? I seriously don’t remember this guy.

  • chase

Who cares about this dude. GG needs to make serious adustments. The whole Blair and Chuck thing needs to go away forever. Everytime i see them together I reminded of a bad soap opera!! The writers need to focus on Nate a little more. Get him out of that apartment, have him take that motorcycle for a spin. Allow him to meet some women, be a player. Ugh!! The final thing, more Blair and Dan!! Great chemistry, the two will make an interesting couple for next season. If you don’t follow these simple instructions, next season will be your last..

    • Reina

Blair and Chuck are an incredible team! They need to get together and stay together. As for Nate, he’s been a player (remember his older woman? his multiple simultaneous flirtations and romances?), and that’s usually been boring. He needs a fresh new story instead of bouncing from woman to woman. Blair and Dan have no chemistry.

  • dawn

I remember him quite well even if it was for 5 minutes. Simon is a great actor even if he is on for minutes iii know he puts his heart in everything he does.

  • riml

Blair and Dan SUCK. No chemistry at all. Chuck and Blair are soulmates, and they need to get together already. i completely agree with reina.

    DAIR NEXT SEASON PLZ !
