Get ready for more Leverage. TNT has ordered a fifth season of the Timothy Hutton starrer that’s currently averaging 4.8 million viewers, up 10% over season three.
The new season will bow next summer.
The series centers on a gang of grifters, hackers and thieves who are out to settle scores against the rich and powerful. After the show’s Aug. 28 summer finale, Leverage will return to wrap up its fourth season with new episodes in November and December.
Leverage first premiered on TNT in 2008. Besides Hutton, who plays an insurance-investigator-turned-thief, Leverage also stars Gina Bellman, Christian Kane, Beth Riesgraf and Aldis Hodge.

I am so bummed to find out about In Plain Sight! Now that I know this, I’m going to guess that Mary will keep her baby. She’ll probably get back together with her ex. Marshall’s feelings for Mary will go unrequited.

I am so happy about this!!!!!!! Leverage is my favorite show in tv. It’s one of those shows I can watch over and over and never get tires of watching!!! Way to go TNT!! Yet another smart move by an amazing newtwork!!!

I’ve been a fan of Timothy Hutton for years, and I’m so glad to see him in a good, successful show surrounded by talented co-stars. I’m still upset over MOACA, yet hoping for good news regarding Memphis Beat.
Glad to hear the good news. Kane is cool and is probably tied or at least is a close 3rd to Nathan in 2nd place while Parker leads the pack by a large margin. The aloof characters always are my favourite and it does not hurt that Beth R. as Parker is smokin’ hot.

As the article makes it abundantly clear to anyone with a brain, it’s a TV show. A very good TV show, actually.
