The CW has released a new season 3 promo for The Vampire Diaries, which returns Sept. 15, and it not only gives us looks at Bad Stefan and Sad Elena in action, it also teases a half-naked Caroline mounting Tyler in bed. WHAT?! I’m all for this coupling, and want it to happen, but it can’t happen this quickly can it? Then again, this is The Vampire Diaries, and EPs Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec know how to move.

And don’t you get the feeling that Stefan is telling Damon “Let… me… go” so Damon (and therefore Elena) will stay clear of Klaus, and not because Stefan is too far gone?

Good lord, I can hardly wait. Never thought I’d love Caroline and Tyler, especially together, but not they’re the hottest couple on TV. Props to the writers of this show for keeping us interested and motivated to tune in.
